  1. Billboard News! Wire Recording format sales highest for 60 years - GWC
  2. That was absolutely horrible to read... Really hope he is OK (and that someone deletes that asap).
  3. ^ that one, yes. Just realized Random Bulleties is the only unreleased live track not uploaded (yet)? Or did it?
  4. Part 3 of the fantastic incredible high quality 'Relics of the Past' show by Legowelt and Willie Burns. Some nice guest appearances too :)
  5. hey man is there a stream of that live set? never knew about that Sure, here you go :) https://soundcloud.com/aleksiperala It's the second one, although that first one (the NTS one) is great as well.
  6. Is it possible they were DIY? No idea about the technical side of these things, but it could explain the limited run (next to the fact that not a lot of people would buy this). I found out I can get my hands on a machine that could play this if I want, awaiting the price first :) About the music - I'm still praying to Colundi that the first track from his liveset on Sub FM will be on this one.
  7. So many LOLs in that: Salmon Valley, heard it on the stereo of a Cabriolet, The Viking Posse - they were my descendants, Epic trolling. For people unaware, that Viking story is actually true, he ranted between tracks at the Norway Quarterfest, good fun to listen to. Yeah and lol at Salmon Valley
  8. I don't get why Hilo was never released on Ventolin - incredible track, really takes me back! And AB5 needs a rerelease with Sekonda added to it (instead of Cuckoo) :)
  9. So Consul was right... I'll probably have to draw the line here... I do have a couple of mates who collect a lot of this ol' stuff, so I have to ask before I pass on this, also depends on what the price for this will be...
  10. yep. mods pls but it will look like we actually care about that grammys, pop hypes, wawards and silicone boobs I care because Kanye does Well, there's why I won't change it

  13. Have you ever seen or heard the test pressing called 'Xylo' for Polygon Window? Xylo? Do tell more, please. A couple years back I became an acquaintance with someone (they may be on here or at least lurking time to time) who had similar interests as me (namely synth gear and Aphex). He told me he had some pretty rare vinyl and on one occasion I saw it all. Two of the notable vinyl's he had was one of the CAT023's (I held it, examined it. It was real) and a Polygon Window test record called 'Xylo'. The writing on the white label looked like Rich's handwriting. This acquaintance said he acquired it via Cylob. Thanks, very interesting. Not the first time there is talk about a second Polygon Window album too. I guess it's not this then: http://www.discogs.com/Polygon-Window-Portreath-Harbour/release/5939220

  15. Sweet article from the Boiler Room - if you add it up to the similar anecdotes told by roughly the same people in that We Love Aphex Twin Breezeblock special (2005-ish) you get an even better idea of that era :) Very cool to hear that track from µ-ziq too, thanks for adding that!
  16. You do know they're treatable, right? You do know this? But yeah, don't be drastic. Go to hospital, have full scans / tests and see whether your family doctor was right or not. Doctor's (and internet people) aren't always right. I hope we're not! This. Really hope you're OK though G, keep your spirits up man.
  17. I was wondering the exact same thing because of GPO and the 'Wicked' sample (he played 'Wicked' out live too iirc) + Richards talk earlier this year about the Aphex symbol functioning as a magic sigil. As far as PTV is concerned, I asked two older blokes from around that were really into those 1988 acid albums. It is unquestionable where it came from, but PTV had a lot of influence making acid house more well known in the UK and the Netherlands, according to those house veterans that is. Fred Gianelli would probably disagree though :)
  18. userblablabla001 commented on aphextwin soundcloud CCAI track, something like "i also made electronics in 90s, gonna upload my dats" and aphextwin responded to him (to himself, basically). aaaand the rest is history edit: on Diskhat ALL Prepared1mixed [snr2mix] Would like to know the full setup for this track, brilliant music man, I loved your early 90's stuff, I was doing stuff in the early 90's as well similiar to you but I did know about you when I did it, gunna be uploading it slowly to soundcloud, stay tuned! on Diskhat ALL Prepared1mixed [snr2mix] @user487363530: beautiful stuff, would love to hear more Yeah, this.
