  1. Really got stuck into the Sonar set recently - my god its intense and relentless - love it! Of course ending with "Mt Saint Michel + Saint Michaels Mount" was so lush and nostalgic etc but its what he did with the EQ for lack of a better term to pound those rhthymns and almost vocode them.. as well as the subtle glitch effects - just perfection He ended with this track in LA 2002 btw
  2. This is really fab - I was daydreaming yesterday about how the cube thing resembles the collapse thing - visually anyway - and here you are directly showing it. Excellent Interestingly i can;t see the sonic connection.. i mean Collapse track did collapse in the centre.. but Blackbox track... is it even.. "boxy"?
  3. Oh man just saw this now... so sorry to read about it.
  4. Loved the first 2 - not watched the last yet.. but holy shit "Mazie Day" was really bad. Rushed, zero dark-near-future-tech stuff and no-point-whatsoever plot with a terrible ending... I thought the first 2 were setting up every-episode-is-about-streamberry but nope. I liked the Arran Paul one until the end despite the female character being alfully 2D... they messed up the end altogther I reckon. I don;t mind it being super-dark but .. at the expense of logic? In short - starts off strong, 2 clangers... will watch the last one soon as its got good reviews
  5. Best Kept Secret gig is my fave of the tour so far - very trippy glitchy deep techno mid-sections - love this style
  6. That interview where he tells of how even Rich told him to have less scat/slaughterhouse grossouts for the visuals. I was there for that first show and it was indeed insane I think it really got Weirdcore to step up .... and he did
  7. Happy with the new tunes - really want those Unreleased Live Tracks 2016-2019 as we all must! As for the price - with spotify artist-stealing, Vinyl basically being a luxury good these days, his SC dumps, all these nuggets over the years including 100's of juicey live sets. Rich can get rich off us no probs in my mind
  8. i get it "blackbox life recorder"....kinda sick tho props
  9. im liking the new tunes and the new logo cut into surfaces.... Field-Day me up baby!
  10. Yeh tinny-ness is my least fave quality in production and JAS is that - also i seem to be one of the few who thinks thart drukqs is quite tinny - the drill tracks especially
  11. Just a heads-up that Vicar st venue in Dublin - while it has seating Is a standup sort of place too so this new set could go either way lets RAVE!! be it ion our heads on our arses - or on our feet
  12. I agree... 2 hours of pure inanity from the master. His Japan sets are also my faves I was at Glade for his UV set and it was TRIPPY AF in every way possible. The dry ice/white strobes during Steinbolt was a trip to the creation of the universe in sonic form
  13. LOVE: Cari Lekebusch - Mäster Spettaren "TONYYYYYYYYY" ?
  14. good stuff!! that electro funky stuff at 11:15 tho.... sooo good. No idea?
  15. Speaking of N>E>D - one of my fav sets is his - a glitchy warp set from the old WarpRadio show here: the only track ids I have are adozenaday - brothomstates We enell - Fifurera squarepusher - my fucking sound - bit of Boards of canada in here too squarepusher - tommib shazam has failed otherwise Anyone help?
  16. Agree with everything here! Very happy for him to continue his live-sets with newer acid/jungle mixed with back-catalogue stuff. But yeh.. Go Plastic! was another-planet id love him to revisit
  17. True story: My 1st cousin once removed was the lead engineer on the Sydney Opera House build ? - Happy pi day -
