The CD turned up in the post on Wednesday, its so hypnotic and fluid. The album cover is perfect for the sounds.

My GAS has given way, and I am purchasing an RMA Mudlark It is essentially a 2 stage gain unit fuzz with EQ control plus feedback / gating effects. I think. Plus you can choose whether you get the gain or EQ before it reaches the fuzz, and if it feedsback or not. Basically its a hot noisy box of destruction and I can't wait to fire my Volca Kick or BlackFly through it ? I am hoping it can replace the distortion and fuzz units I have, minimising my kit

Bleep mail out advertising the new release for sale, so its not a falling out. -
Latest setup for noise / drone / industrial sounds. Recorded some stuff under the name "Cunch of Bunts" for inclusion on a forthcoming compilation album!

Just started watching The Tick which started up on Amazon Prime. Actually not too bad for what it is. Used to be a fan of the cartoon back in the day.

Yeah i got about halfway through, and aside from the cringy Lynch impersonations I could follow everything he was saying and nodded along at most bits (so far) Interested to see how he manages to string this out for another 2.5 hours though

But students can vote? Its hardly an excuse. As a student you either stay where you are and vote, or go home and vote. Or get a postal vote. Its hardly rocket science. If you are at university I'm pretty sure you have the brain capacity to figure it out.

That's preposterous slanderous talk! But yes, probably just as likely as any other outcome right now. Interestingly, I heard an interview with a Lib Dem MP this morning (didn't catch her name, not Swinson) that the policy is now to press for a people's vote if they get a majority in a general election, rather than straight up revoking Article 50. A softening / changing of stance to whip up more votes me thinks.

How about a moat around the entire parliament building and declare it as an independent state?

I had to cancel my box order, sad times. Trying to save $$££.

Semi-tidy setup for future live explorations! Although since taking this photo I have already re-routed a couple of things and added a delay pedal.

This is rather lush. 90 minutes in now. I am very grateful for these history lessions and glimpses into the 'chre record collections.

4 new tracks A live recording of a sound installation I was involved with making for this years Supernormal Festival. I made some steel letters that were hung from a frame and amplified / processed. They "jangled" in the wind but we also played them with sticks and threw stones at them. Drone creepiness Drone weirdness Maximum noise with kick drum experiment

Good Industrial music that you can recommend
Soloman Tump replied to dingformung's topic in Music Discussion
The Spectrum book is indeed a goldmine, I dip into it every now and then. Such a beast to pick and up just read though. I also get the Noise Receptor journals, as well as Special Interests (https://special-interests.net/main/special-interests-11-zine-out-now/) -
This is now on Amazon prime in the UK. Watched 5 hungover episodes today, enjoyed it. Sucks they cancelled it already. Had to fiddle with my screen contrast to figure out what was going on though, especially in first 2 episodes

^ Well thats a comprehensive boxed set! Don't have £300 laying around the pay for it though. In other news, I have been enjoying:- The Vomit Arsonist - Nihil Dicit - https://deathbedtapes.com/album/nihil-dicit Which is an effective blend of industrial / noise / PE sounds, dark and grim and unrelenting.
