  1. Is this what happens when you give tone-deaf trust-fund kinds some acid and cocaine and a copy of Garage Band and make them listen to Death Grips?
  2. Any of you guys dig Neptune? I found these guys a few years back, they make a lot of the instruments used from various things and parts of other instruments... not exactly harsh noise more industrial i guess, but it gets pretty noisy. Gong Lake is a fantastic album. Stupid fan vid (fucking art/film student film vids), but awesome song... Same with this one... same chick made it dont watch the vid (unless you really want to I guess) but listen... Live
  3. Oh it get's SO much better... Just a warning when you get to Season 3 drags a little through the beginning but it definitely picks back up near the later half of the season. Season 4 and 5.1 are awesome.
  4. I wasn't aware of the existence of The Pacific until a friend of mine mentioned it the other day, I plan to watch that after I finish this current run of BoB
  5. Started up re-watching Band of Brothers again this week for the first time in years... Damn this series was amazingly well done.
  6. SRIV if you like that barley wine style, try Stone Brewery's "Old Guardian", one of the best Barely Wines I've had
  7. From all I've seen of FarCry 3 it seems to look good visually but seems like a pretty mediocre game as far as gameplay and story go, this seems to be the deal with a lot of CryTek's output. Hence why I never bothered much with Crysis or the other FarCrys as well... I'll continue to wait for Bioshock: Infinite and The Last of Us next month
  8. Bought a 12-pack of this stuff last Saturday, it's a very good pale ale... I've come to notice lately Deschutes has come to be among my favorite brewerys, they're all pretty consistently good. I'm a big fan of the Black Butte Porter and Obsidian Stout as well. For those into IPA's check out their seasonal Hop Henge, I'm not usually too big on IPA's but this one is pretty damn good as well. It's a 10.6% but drinks incredibly smooth for being so. Had a bomber of it and it went down real easy then kinda crept up on me remembering it's a 10.6. It's not overly hoppish either. Alright enough plugging Deschutes for this post, but yeah, good beers.
  9. Been playing Darksiders 2 recently, never played the first one but I'm loving this one, the mix of old-school Zelda like dungeon crawling and God of War style combat with the RPG elements is tons of fun,
  10. Narhwhal is delicious, loving that lately... Sierra Nevada's Celebration Ale was also good this year Got a bomber of Fulton's Worthy Adversary I'm waiting to crack open til tomorrow The Widmer Brothers "Brrr" is really good this year... Also had a glass of this last week or so at a bar, I thought $7.50 was a ripoff for the glass poured pretty much to how it is in the picture (should've topped it off), but damn was it good. I wish the shop I work at had it,
  11. So next February is def. gonna drain my money spending on video games... Bioshock: Infinite (already pre-ordered) The Last of Us Dead Space 3 Metal Gear Rising
  12. You're missing out on TONS of great beers then, most of the beers in this thread are over 5-6%, a lot of "finer" beers are at least a 7... the key is to go with a craft brew and not just say, steel reserve that's going for alcohol and not flavor. Or perhaps there's certain types you don't like. For example I don't particularly like the extremely hoppy beers, and therefore don't care for most IPA's
  13. Havent check into this thread in a while, and cant remember everything I've tried since... (I try about 2 or 3 new beers every saturday at the shop i work at Ive had a couple bottles of this stuff this week, it's interesting tossed in an orange slice on the second bottle and it enhanced it quite well... The Sierra Nevada Celebration ale is also quite tasty,
  14. Finished watching the only season of Freaks and Geeks the other day. That show totally should have been given more of a chance, at least one more season.
  15. After looking through reviews and such, I caved in and bought Black Ops 2, it seems pretty cool so far, but I haven't gotten too far into it , been fucking around in the Zombie mode a lot, If you got a PS3 and wanna play some multiplayer add me: RitzBitz428
  16. lil bro has a pic on fb of him wearing one of my hoodie's, he denies it's mine though...
  17. Anyone here read these, I'm really curious about them... they look good http://www.amazon.com/Criminal-Deluxe-Ed-Brubaker/dp/0785142290/ref=sr_1_10?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1352269148&sr=1-10
  18. I can't say as much about the rest of the new 52, but I found the Court of Owls ac interesting so far, can't say I'll follow much of it after, probably more so fillout my collection of pre-exsisting Batman stuff. I need to get some of the old Bob Kane anthologies, but those volumes are a little more spendy. I've been REALLY meaning to checkout some of Alan Moore's work on Swamp Thing
  19. Just about finished Dishonored, just finished Dead Space 2 finally the other night (good game, cant wait for 3)... Started playing some ME3 Multiplayer the other night too for the first time in a while. It's pretty fun when you start to unlock the higher character builds and stats...
  20. Picked up some of the various #0 and #1 issues from the New 52 restarts of Batman..l also picked up Batman: Shaman and Dark Knight Dynasty graphic novels for a deal from a local bookstore/comic shop... Still working my way through the Knightfalls though. Also waiting to get the rest of the Court of Owls collected Trades when those are out next year, The new revamps are pretty sweet Scott Snyder is a good writer, and Ive been a fan of Greg Capullo's art since he worked on Spawn:
