Just finished the 2nd Walking Dead compendium and book 17, that makes me current as far as the trade releases go, book 18 "What Comes After" is scheduled to be out next month... can't wait. Also recently finished Batman Vol 2: City of Owls and Detective Comics vol. 1: Faces of Death... both pretty good, although the city of owls was slightly lacking full closure (Though, I assume because it's going to be more of an ongoing story in this new relaunch of Batman) ht Also picked this one up on Free Comic Book Day, as it was recommended to me by the clerk at the comic shop. I'll probably start on this one later tonight. Looking forward to it, heard nothing but good about this series.

Gave the stream a listen, and pretty much reinforced every thought I had about this album. I tried to give it a fair chance, I really did. But this album is so fucking boring. "Get Lucky" is definitely the highlight and we all know that song is already pretty tired and never was that great. The tracks all sound very samey, and the grooves are pretty safe for being something that was going to "breathe life back into music". And is it just me or is the mixing fucking awful? Everything sounds so overly bright and sterile, there's no life to any of the tracks. I'd rather go put on an actual disco record than listen to this overhyped garbage. Fuck this, I'm going to listen to the Commodores instead and never look back on this.

The new Dillinger Escape Plan album is pretty good imo...

Beat Max Payne 3 again, thought I'd give the multiplayer a try, fuck that... It's so incredibly unbalanced, least fun multiplayer I've ever played. I'd rather play CoD with a group of 14 year olds calling me racial slurs the whole time

Stupid, road construction project has shut down the main interstate route on the way to visit my mom... All other routes either go many miles out of the way before coming back, or are really swamped with detour traffic. Making what should be a 20min drive into about an hour's drive. Not dealing with that, so I'll bring her her gift later this week.

It's gears of war in space, what are you complaining about? It's quite a bit more complex than Gears... Mass Effect multi takes a lot of strategy to be successful at in the higher difficulties.

Summer break seems to have started already for some school and areas... I'm noticing more and more little punks online and running around town... Fuck I'm getting old, this never used to bother me.

Summer's clearly started already... Mass Effect 3 servers were filled with stupid kids tonight, it wouldn't bug me so much if they didn't suck so much at the game trying to play it like it's CoD. So many times I watched the team get scrubbed out in Wave 5.

stay behind cover and look around for the glare of his scope... when you see it you have a short window to shoot him before he shoots you.... also one of the scanners (i forget which one) really helps you find him
