Watched "Looper" in the theatre the other night, I enjoyed it, cool concepts, good story, good acting... The only thing that slightly irked me was that JGL doesn't really look like a young Bruce Willis, but if you allow yourself to get past that and just enjoy the movie, it's a good action/sci-fi. Def, worth watching. Other's on IMDB have said there's flaws in the concepts, but I think some of the movie went over a lot of people's heads due to lack of paying attention. If you pay attention in the beginning it explains all the logic of the course of actions pretty well.

Some lady at the shop I work at was talking about it last night, but our shop doesn't carry it this time of year. Got 2 bombers of Surly Darkness reserved to pick up tomorrow, and the next 2 days off

Also really hoping I can pick some of this up from the shop before it sells out... Surly is a truly great local brewery, not sure you can get any of their stuff outside of Minnesota or Wisconsin though.. The Darkness is a limited run imperial stout they do every year around Halloween and the few years I have gotten in it's damn good. Problem is it sells FAST. If it's sold out already, I'll probably pick up the Narwhal. Edit: Ah Darkness Days is this weekend at the brewery limited to 1500 bottles, and 8oz sampler and the rest hits stores Nov. 5, can't go to the fest because I have to work tonight but I will patiently wait til Nov. 5th (Yes, it's THAT good)

Girlfriend bought a new catfood brand for her cat this week, and today the thing has the most god awful smelling shits ever. We have a self-cleaning litterbox that we keep in the closet of our entryway and I can still smell it in the living room. It's gag-inducing. If this keeps up beyond this weekend I'm making her go buy the old brand again. *sprays febreeze generously into the air*

I'm enjoying the shit out of Dishonored so far, not that far into it really but I'm playing it slow, and trying to follow the path of shadow (stealth) also trying to find every single rune bone charm and painting... I'm only on chapter 4 but I'm trying to get the "ghost" bonus. I may decide it's not worth that challenge but I'm still trying to avoid killing. The atmosphere is amazing!!!

I picked up my pre-order of Dishonored today, but I haven't had a chance to start playing it yet. I pre-ordered from Gamestop so I got the Tarot Deck and Arcane Assasin DLC, also the game guide for 20% off... I'll probably start it up tomorrow and continue to play the shit out of it this weekend. Good to see others saying good things about it. I'm also just about finished with Max Payne 3 but the last couple areas are giving me a little trouble... I'll probably get it next time I pop it in though, great game overall. The multiplayer is pretty underrated as well. Also still making progress through Skyrim, girlfriend is playing on her laptop now as well so we play together and help each other out with what to do for certain quests.

My Batman graphic novel collection has continued to grow. I picked up the Court of Owls one, from the new 52 revamp. I was pretty impressed with it, Greg Capullo's artwork is top-notch, and the writing is great as well. Also picked up part 1 and 2 of the Knightfall trilogy. Still making my way through Part 1, but it's good so far.

Started the night by tasting a Unibroue sampler pack at work. 5/6 in the sampler were delicious, among the best beers I've had, however the Ephemere Apple, is a little too fruity for my tastes (some may like it though, while fruity and the worst of the 6 still a decent beer) Ended up buying a bomber of the Maudite because it came with the glass. for only $2 more than the regular bombers, felt classy drinking it out of the custom glass Now I'm finishing the night off slowly sipping on some Rogue Chocolate Stout, which is fucking delicious

Siamese Dream is definitely the best, but this album comes in a close 2nd for me. There's a bit of filler but to me it's mostly good. I was so into this album when it came out... everything they did afterwards kinda fell short for me. -
i don't think you're an asshole. i get moody when i'm doing chores and i don't like it when people stand there watching me do something i hate because it's like if you have the time to stand around and talk to me why aren't you doing these chores. that's more what it was, she was just standing there watching me... i just wanted her to either help or go play on her computer rather than just watching me asking me questions about the dishes she knows i don't like doing. either way she admitted this morning she's been being moody all week, and it's not my doing. she's been bothered by work and such

That's the thing though, whatever I said wasn't something directed at her, or even that bitchy I was just grumbling about doing the dishes. and now she's been moody for the last few hours.

I'm pretty sure girlfriend is pissed at me about something I said while doing dishes earlier tonight (dont talk to me while doing dishes, I hate doing them and it makes me an asshole to everyone), it's making me wanna go smoke a bowl, but I'll need to run to a friends house to get more, which will probably just piss her off more...
