80s : just to be able to enjoy Hunting high & low on the radio.

the 80s had many one shots artist (like FGTH in a way). even if i think the 80s were a terrible time for pop music (for obvious reasons)

no, i meant some widely popular pop music like phil collins, dire straits, tina turner : they were huge in the 80s.

I also really liked that inxs tune, never tear us appart (that sax solo!) ; strangely i like soft pop from the year 1990 : advice for the young at heart (remixed by a talented austrian guitar/laptoper!), words by the christians or nothing compares 2 U.
