at times, it reminds me of the 2001 autechre live set : probably the strenght & weakness of phoenecia)

Wow, very cool. Never heard this before, thanks :cisfor:

Edit: I'm totally in love with this, does anyone have an mp3? PM me.

the last thing i bought from schematic was 'secret frequency crew' back in 04'

Forest of the echo downs? If so that is a seriously awesome album!

echo downs was the last real triumph for schematic in my opinion.

i used to collect all schematic releases, i think i have nearly everything up to downs.

lots of plates as well. boy oh boy, just writing this is inspiring me to mount some of those there's on decks.

x1000

I don't really have much from Schematic...that, Delarosa and Asora's Agony Part 1, Phoenecia's Brownout (don't actually own though) and I've heard the last two Richard Devine albums.

Oh and I listened to Echolon Mall last night...a bit too ambient/sparse for me.

It's very sparse, but it's serious business. Smother is the best track for sure, even though its about 20 minutes long. I can't remember what track this was in but the soft wet bell sound from Brown Out is used at a certain point, I'm thinking it's Smother but I could be wrong. At any rate, this album is serious! Gotta get real high and listen to it in a daze, or put it on as you fall asleep.

I don't get high anymore, and I'd probably fall asleep within the first track lol. But maybe I'll give it another shot. It's neverusually not fair to dismiss things after just one listen.

Basically, now that you know what this album is, having listened to it once, just wait until you're in the mood for music like this and then put it on.
