last year there were several big budget releases aimed at the wider audience; Transformers 2, Terminator Salvation, Star Trek, G.I. Joe, Up etc. this summer seems pretty thin only ones i can think of wasting money on are:

Iron Man 2

Get Him to the Greek

Inception

Jonah Hex

Machete

maybes:

Toy Story 3

Predators

Piranha 3D

Resident Evil: Afterlife

machete looks bad ass but thats about it.

i might see iron man 2 as well but most of these summer blockbusters turn out to be disappointing anyway

Well, there's always Robin Hood...

But yeah, it looks like a really dull Blockbuster year. There are a few movies (Get Low looks really interesting) I'm interested in though but nothing that comes out this summer.

Fucking Toy Story 3, man. That's going to be awesome, Pixar never disappoints.

sure, if you like saccharine drivel that happens to look amazing..

Every Pixar movie at least tells the story well. The cheesiest one is Cars (because they're fucking cars), then maybe A Bug's Life (childhood nostalgia, I was 7 or so when I saw it, I think...), and after that the rest are all pretty damn good and inventive. I really just can't hate on what they do when they make things like Up, Wall-E, Finding Nemo, and Ratatouille.

up was pretty cringeworthy (although i liked the premise)... i was interested in wall e, but stayed away. perhaps ill rent the blu ray or something.. against my better judgement..

Up was great until the bad guy entered the picture along with his fucking talking dogs. I know it's a kids movie but the dog with the high pitched voice went straight to the hall of facepalms.

inception is the only one i am interested in. nolan has made some solid movies, so this should be interesting, especially when it seems like a somewhat original story.

toy story 3 is only going to be released because disney bought pixar and this was part of the deal

pixar never wanted to make a third part as they always want to go on technincally

Machete, Predators, Iron Man 2 and Inception all should be good times!
