if you trip you are opening yourself up to intensive scrutinty, self- and otherwise

once you dose you're never the same & you always have increased awareness

nobody ever told me i would be open to the universe when i first tripped lsd etc.

still i wouldn't trade it for anything and i'm glad i'm wide open, it helps me cope

ive always taken it simply to amble round and have fun, and ive never experienced any of this spirituallity shit.

that's probably most healthy; spirituality is just an addendum to vis. & physicals

Aint no hate up in here. I've been open to the universe on many occasions.

But like everything else it just gets so fucking tedious after a while. There's only so many times you can watch the sun melt and the earth breathe.

I'd love to witness this.

Psychedelic drugs do get boring after frequent use, but that's why I variate. Acid & shrooms are merely the tip of the iceberg. Things like 2c-e, 2c-b and bromo dragonfly will give you vastly different experiences. & I don't even need to say anything about DMT on this message board.

this is what shamanism teaches us; that nature can show us a way of communicating with our "other" selves. that when in a highly meditative state, the chemicals in certain plants activate certain areas of the brain to release endorphines which naturally occur (just not in the same quantity). 'meditation' being a key word there, having great "spiritual" implications...

over doing the whole experience and using it for recreation can give you a quick entrance into the sensational, lucid world you seek, but all too often does that self-serving mentality and intention result in bad "trips" and possibly some serious psychological fuckery (also due to bad drugs, mixtures, etc.)

meditation, on the other hand, allows for a smooth entrance and exit from the experience. you have to contemplate, on a soul-level, physicality, ego, spirit, awareness―all that shit. you have to be spiritually-focused in some way, shape, or form for it to be done right and effectively, because that is what the psychedelic experience is; another natural, consciousness-expanding, spiritual tool for our own inner-development and evolution; how lovely!

funny how different, yet similar our cultures and the native american cultures really are. i believe we are all pioneers in the quest for truth and light regardless of our culture.

I really hate new age beliefs, but love drugs.

I don't really want to use MDMA again because of this. Also considering I barely have any serotonin to begin with. Even when I was up I was amazed at how low I was.

When I was in high school I'd trip mushrooms, acid, DXM pretty frequently. A couple really intense mushroom trips fucked. me. up. I wasn't the same for a long long time after that.

Then I started taking mushrooms for insight into the structure and obstructions in my psyche. Worked brilliantly.

Recently, after doing about a year of frequent meditation and psychological work, mushrooms opened me up to cosmic consciousness and total liberation from ego. The palpable after effects lasted about a month, but that space is generally still available to me if i put in the right conditions.

I like drugs, but I've been using them less and less. They call on me when they want to be eaten.

breaking news: you're still not right.

some people have the decency to return to regular, non tl;dr sanity after a period of time.
