it means:

no fuck you it means that canada signed away its sovereignty to the USA

It means that the two governments are working together to promote more trade between the two nations because they feel that doing so will expand both nations' economies and provide some security for when the rest of the world finally starts giving the finger to the US.

 

It has a two-year mandate - that means that it gets the job done in two years and then it's finished. Although this is not to say the mandate can be extended.

 

It means that the two countries will work to reduce regulatory conflicts (I'm assuming big pharma is going to have a field day with this bad bwoy).

 

It doesn't mean that Canadian citizens will suddenly be facing tasers from Michigan State Troopers in the middle of Saskatchewan. Nor does it mean that we have lost our right to vote, have lost our currency, have changed our healthcare plans (we likes our socialist death panels up here in Canukistan), or have given up any sovereignty.
