i have not heard this supposed collaboration.

i wouldn't mind hearing a little...

i hope the new :z*f: record is at least as good as country music (their last album came out 11 years ago!?→and don't even get me started on that 8")

their recent live performances i like, and poured out slowly had it's charrm, but i'm not so sure about

after hearing that, i had to listen to until... to feel better again!

i think music for a spaghetti western is the best thing to come out under the :z f: name in twenty years, because it was recorded in 85/86, and robin was on it.

when i first heard selected ambient works volume ii, it was all i listened to for years (along with tangerine dream zeit, fripp & eno, eno's ambient series, cluster, etc.) but always wondered what might have been done in similar ilk in the interim (1970's→?→saw ii) and i found :zoviet*france: and now they are practically all i listen to.

nocturnal emissions started getting really good around 1987, when their earthly delights releases started:

holy shit james, you just blew my mind with that last ZF video! wtf i can't believe i havent seen that before. Nice to meet a fellow ZF fan on this forum!

I agree about music for spaghetti western, i love the opening track with the Ronald Reagan sample, that is a really chilling song.

just want to chime in on the zoviet france love... i've been working my way through their discography lately and am frequently chilled and amazed. i'd never heard track 6 / C1 from Monohmishe, from 1983... what a doozy. Essentially hard dub techno a decade before Basic Channel (but a few years after Monoton... and quite different/harder)

It's labeled C2 here but this is the track i'm thinking of:
