2012!

to quote Governor Christie:

"The weather will turn ugly and we want everyone off the roads,"

"Don't be stupid. Get out. Don't try to be a hero and act as if nothing is going on here."

Good luck East Coast Posse!

Having been through a few of these, I'll say good luck and a few pointers:

Stay on high ground. The winds won't be super terrible but if you live close to water it will flood (which it appears to be doing, now that I'm reading the thread). Don't attempt to walk around in moving flood waters. If your car gets flooded, do not attempt to start it again for at least a couple of days after the water subsides.

Down to 940 with pressures still lowering!

Can't quote on my phone but on the other forum they have dropsones of 80 knots consistently. So I expect cat 2 at 11am.

Center is less than 300 miles from NYC, less than 250 miles from Atlantic City.

Some posts are never abandoned. The Marines will continue to guard the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier throughout Sandy.

Thanks to my friend Kim Adams for sharing on Facebook.
