Nebraska Posted September 21, 2016 Share Posted September 21, 2016 https://allo.google.com/ new SMS app from google so far, i'm not getting this. has anyone started using it? first, how can i sort my contacts? people with more than one number show up as a different entry for each number. can i merge them? also, it seems if you don't have the app you get a small notification with the msg and link where you can download the app? (can anyone confirm this?) so far i can't tell the point of using the assistant (besides asking it stupid questions like show me where i can find dank memes in my neighborhood then it brings up a map to guide you to the location) but can't i already do that with the voice command on google? Google are still 5 years (and a billion plus users) behind WeChat, Line and iMessage though. I wouldn't count on the homies downloading this.
