    honestly, what the russia thing is, is... it looks like... moscow has something on trump. and he works for them. flynn resigned because he was talking to russians about lifting sanctions on russia (immediately, in january) and then lied about it sessions lied about talking with the russians a half dozen times during the campaign why are they in cahoots? and why are they hiding it? it sounds like a shitty novel that the president could be, in effect, an agent of russia. but that's what it looks like you want a smoking gun? trump sold a mold-infested house in florida to a russian oligarch for twice its value without mold. it had to be torn down. 50 million over what market value would have been if it were not dilapidated. that amounts to a russian oligarch depositing 50 mil + into trump. sure it doesn't conclusively prove anything. its also just about impossible to interpret it any other way than trump and moscow being entwined like donnie jr said years ago, trump has been doing tons of business with russia. him ending up under the thumb of the russian mafia somewhere along the way is not that inconceivable. especially when you consider that an important thing to the mafia (russia is essentially a mafia government) is money laundering, and a common way to launder money is real estate

    That's not surprising, so long as the Corpocrats are still in charge of the DNC. But then again a lot can change in a year. Yeah the Dems being weak is a huge problem of course, but the gerrymandering bullshit is a bigger factor in this from all I've read. yes. this page shows the popular vote forecast as well as the seats forecast, and the democrats win the popular vote by 9% but end up with fewer seats. this is consistent with the MIT findings on gerrymandering, summarized as it giving a 15% advantage to republicans with the current district maps. i noticed the MIT findings confimed in the 2016 elections, also. 2020 is the next census, and the next opportunity for more gerrymandering. the issue went to the supreme court last month, following the judicial win on the topic in wisconsin. the SC is still mulling it over. too bad the republicans stonewalled obama being able to fill the vacancy for a year, and trump got to appoint a guy. will be some nice tragedy if he decides it, though, last i heard, his stance is still TBD.

    It sounds very plug inspired. reminiscent of the inkey$ track, imo i hope i can cherish it at some point what was the deal with that one? some people got to download it, at first, but it was mp3 only or something?

    80% exercise critical thinking in many circumstances but are susceptible to bullshit in others. maybe 5% think of propositions as probabilities linked with indications across the board.

    oh yeah, it was the NEW labels, and speculation about the Ms in the names. so, missing mistaken NEW labels in testing before launching the site is an odd thing to miss. it's hard to believe it was that. either the songs are different or richard or warp wanted to put the NEW labels there because they were put out as the tuss originally and not claimed by james until later, and in low-profile ways. sorry if i just gushed about a placebo effect. sorry tri would like to see a diff of the audio data, though.

    im not convinced that inverting the audio, combining it, and listening to the resulting track to judge for silence is conclusive evidence. i could easily imagine that test producing an imperceptibly soft result track. i could be wrong, but didnt richard say they're new masterings? there's got to be a way to take the WAV data and compare it to get an actual numerical output of difference.

    there may be some room to quibble over whether or not london is technically an album. the original vinyl was kind of short in length. the digital track list is described as a collection rather than an album. from my point of view, though, it's an album. the tuss bonus tracks amount to the length of an ep, and a rather nice one. throw together growth inst, rozzbox, the korgs, atlantis, nightmail, organ, midi pipe, spiral staircase alt rem b, hilow, no cares, lisbon original, milkman bonus beats, and whatever else you like, and you've got yourself a pretty great aphex album then there's the rushup edge remaster, which really rejuvenated it for me. basically all the aspects of the mastering that irked me about the original were fixed and new aspects and levels of detail came to light. been getting blown away by death fuck as one of the crowning works by james in new ways, lately, which is cool because i thought i had already realized that. goodbye jo and the new last rushup are nice improvements over the prior ones, for me, and its kind of like they're new songs, because i wasn't that into the old versions. the new mastering of synthacon seems to have fixed something being off about those sounds at the beginning, which always put me off, and the vocoder parts have a nice new psychedelic lush detail, unless i'm imagining things. and bear in mind, when i mention these perceived limitations of the original rushup edge, that that release floored me and i considered it musically historic.
