Sorry, but JR isn't the secret insider everyone seems to take him for. With that said, I agree with StephenG. Squarepusher. nah. steinvord's melodies are too weak SP has plenty of "weak" melodies, tons of songs the focus is more on the percussive side of things. These are pretty clearly B sides or Go Plastic rejects circa 2001. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and there is no concrete evidence to back up what any of us is saying but as a fan of SP for over a decade I know his music when I hear it.

Good grab, I snagged Burgundy Trax 2 late last year from Forced Exposure. I love that alias, I still don't think it's just Paradinas. Thanks! I thought it was a good deal. Interesting, I think it's just Mike P circa mid 1990s (not near the 2000 release date). Who else do you think it is? -
I haven't! But everything this brewery sells, and especially their collaborations with other companies, is absolutely incredible. I've tried about 15 or 16 of their beers and I love every one! It's a bit of a risk paying that much but because of how limited their collab beers (specialty liquor stores in my city are allotted 10-18 per store only) I was willing to do it. Also, they are usually one off beers meaning they will likely never make this beer again. So it's a bit of a novelty I suppose.

Picked up a 12 pack of this today (urgh 115$) Super limited release. It's a collab between a famous espresso bar in Victoria and the Phillips brewery which I LOVE (favorite brewery next to mikkeller). Will post my thoughts after I try it! Interesting?! Have you tried it?

He said it's not AFX? Well, like I said an AFX/Pusher collab would not be explicitly AFX. Semantics I know, but that's how people like that work. Besides, I trust my ears over what Joyboss says (sorry Joyboss). I know exactly what I'm hearing and I haven't been wrong on judging similar situations in the past.

I can't believe this is still being discussed. It seems so clear that it's either an Aphex/Pusher collab or Squarepusher alone that I don't know how it has ever been questioned. It absolutely REEKS of squarepusher's techniques overall. I just don't get the speculation.
