  1. the turning point, for me, is ep7, what happened before - even if already intense and full of very high moments ... laughing quarter is still a peak) I am inclined to see it as a preparatory phase for what would later be was a unique identity. And if it is true that the confield-draft-untilted phase is perhaps the one that has left an indelible mark in the history of electronics, AE_LIVE is for me the definitive jump in the elsewhere.
  2. there are aspects that, for natural reasons of change and renewal, have been lost today ... I'm fine, they have left room for new ideas and possibilities, but I don't deny it: I miss them a little
  3. missing the questions, now it is difficult to understand if the answers all refer to onesix or even to a new set ... from what I remember he was talking about the new set saying about Rob working on the intro ... as to onesix he was saying that Rob was doing the mastering, but obviously I could be wrong (all work and no play make Rob a dull boy) ... Participation in Terraforma is definitely proof of a new set: after 4 years since onesix, a new album and revamped system, it's quite clear that they will present something completely new. What I hope, unlikely as it is, is that thanks to such a long time of forced suspensin, they have concentrated on something extremely rich in detail and variations and for the first time a longer set ... 2 hours of diving: Rob&Sam plus
  4. yeah, it's more evident in the second part... it have something in common with P:NTL
  5. they are still confirmed for terraforma, here in Italy, but I honestly think that until the vaccine is extended to all age groups (for now there is a worrying delay), an electronics festival will not be possible ... wait and see ...
  6. a fucking cold shower. The concomitance with the autechre collaboration (a small satisfaction that she got five years late and a week before leaving) makes it particularly shocking (from my mere perceptive point of course)

    AE_LIVE

True, I hadn't considered the legal aspect ... well, posting the link here would not be appropriate, but taking into account that frequent users have certainly purchased the files, if it didn't bother you, a confidential Pleasant Measure could be right ...

  9. Autechre (Booth & Brown) will provide the sonic and beat beds for the entire third hour ‘Moontage’ mix set of tonight’s ’Map Is Not Territory’ 12-1am MT on 101.1fm Santa Fe streams at: www.ksfr.org

    AE_LIVE

at first sight it seems to me that short repetitions of patterns have been created here and there, perhaps to underline something or, more likely, to facilitate transitions. Perhaps this is the only penalty, but it is justified in the event that it was done for necessity. Yes, she is very clear that it is a job done for the pleasure of having a file that summarizes all the steps of the various sets, for a complete listening. The easter egg hoax was born later for obscure reasons. When the first block came out I too thought of creating a frankenstain of this type, then came the second, and the third: it seemed to me an undertaking worthy of Sisyphus and I gave up ... I guess the same thing happened with everyone, except for this heroine: more than 28 hours of material to be dissected and assembled. We are in the inconceivable. A user in the thread claims to have a link for it, I will make a reddit account and try to ask...

she practically isolated all the differences between the various sets, assembling them into a 3-hour monster: it's an idea that has always teased me, but the amount of work is discouraging: I'm glad someone did, and it seems that the mix is accurate. She have kept both the dublin incipit and the 2016 one, different and both beautiful, and this is proof that it is a very reasoned work. It seems that she did the same thing for AE_LIVE 2014/15, which looks like a Babelic enterprise considering the amount of hours and variations, but unfortunately the work has been lost. It would really be an adventure to listen to. I don't understand how this was then passed off as an easter egg. Mysteries of human reason.

    elseq 1-5

one of the elseq peaks, no question about it. For five years I have been speculating on a mix that also includes all the variations that emerge in the second half of AE_LIVE, but I must surrender to the evidence that I am not able to do it
  14. there is no doubt that each album is thought as a guided dive, especially from overstep onwards, but it is also true that if every time I wanted to listen to freuleaux I had to start from feed1, it would become a climb to Golgotha
  15. the key is in the hands of the years to come. time will tell us what remains new and what is destined to age. Today, if I listen to Untilted, I don't think about 2005: it's been 16 years, it's more than a clue
  16. it looks like I burned this thread and sprinkled the salt on the ashes (to think that I have also refrained from venturing into a reckless discussion about how the rejection of the scientific method in favor of humanism creates taboos)
  17. I recognize two types of new: one destined to become tradition (so mannerism), one destined to remain so relative to its time (so exception). When Ae revisit the old, they make a new exception.
  18. I like it, this remix is a retrowave version of c16 deep thread (well, mostly I find a reminiscence in the bass tone), and it's cool as even in such a pop context the autechre imprint is immediately recognizable. And considering that, as I wrote without garnering too much approval, SIGN has a lot of elements that wink at a retro sound, this remix completes the mosaic.
  19. for now there is no news, I leave here the link where the guy claims to post the translation (which will then be a transcription, not a translation, but it would already be a lot): https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=1633548670180336&set=gm.3410929562367431

    Untilted

I realize now that one of the girls is also the author ... well, the result is what it is, but fine that she has gone to mix two worlds so distant. Staying on pindaric combinations, I found this, which is quite suggestive:

    Untilted

Czech surrealism is a world unto itself, however, why this Nancy Mitchell felt the need to clumsily follow Věra Chytilová and to do it with fermium is something that will remain closed to human understanding
