  1. https://karelvo.com/2021-music/ Will be updated sometime soon
  2. Wait, DanielSL is a WATMMer? Makes total sense in hindsight.
  3. Thought you'd like this. It fits weirdly into this nostalgia/weirdo/fragile corner. Releases May 16th, 2020 Batfinks became part of the Caoutchou family since he contributed the track 'Shamalaalaa' for the second Rubber Beats compilation back in '09. 5 years later we released 'Bibobleyboo' on our label and early 2016 he sent us new material for an album named 'Mosisac'. Later that year we heard the sad news that Ste had passed away. 'So If You Want' is the lyrical counterpart of the dark, at times unsettling 'Mosisac', and this compilation is a collection of mostly unreleased Batfinks tracks. He had been testing , with 'lathe cut vinyls', three albums, Dolly, False Fades and Wasps At Home. His family decided to carry on having a few albums made for his friends, later uploading them to Bandcamp. 'Suzy Said' and 'All the Same' are on the albums because Ste' had originally released them on cassettes. 'So If You Want' is unmistakably Batfinksesque, but we also discover another side of the multi-faceted artist. We've heard him sing before, but never on ten tracks in a row - and on such a serious note. Quirky. Multi-instrumental. Eclectic. Absurd. Touching. Out there. Godspeed, wherever you are. Many thanks and an incredible amount of respect to Chris for contacting us about these unreleased tracks. 4. I got this pushed into my hands at my local record store because I purchased a B12 record and I'm very thankful for it. Lovely release (from a fellow Belgian nonetheless)!
  5. been raving to this for two days
  6. Yass queen I love this one too also most of Chris Cunningham but I think that's a given. also weirdcore. some others:
  7. Reading the JJBA manga right now (for parts that aren't animated yet) and damn part 7 is amazingly good. Also some recent recs: Attack On Titan s3.2 and s4 is nuts. One million ways to fuck it all up and it didn't. Props Baccano! is v nice, good story - too bad it's so short Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu is the only thing I'd ever give an 11/10. Can't overstate how good it is. Deffo the best anime I've ever seen + maybe among my top of fiction altogether Kill La Kill very much form over content (story is kinda lame and very stretched out tbh) but what form. First scene is a good indicator of what is to come. Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu (and follow-up Sukeroku Futatabi-Hen) is a brilliant and emotional story. Loved it. Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei also super great
  8. It sounds good but I like his 'splattered beeps' style more. Also missing some melodic parts.
