  1. No, while OPN might indeed be mediocre, Autechre are in fact sacrosanct.
  2. I wonder what he'll do when the AE Station comes out ...
  3. Guy on the lower left corner is my favorite. ? Is the one right next to Toobin trying to save him or calling his friends to tell them about it? In any case, playing Toobin' will never feel the same ...
  4. No, not a Canadian thing, we also have kebab and shawarma platters in Europe, and I agree it's more fun. Kebab platters usually come with fries; with the shawarma platter, you might get some extra flatbread on the side. The "döner box" is the to-go equivalent. And pickled turnip is a must (!) and definitely part of the original Lebanese recipe (source: no one).
  5. By "crack codes" I assume you mean ... this?
  6. This track is my special place. Will have to get used to the new version though cos I love the old one so much.
  7. Hmm, shouldn't you be the one explaining what has made you subscribe to this notion? It just seems a bit ridiculous to me. I mean, just because they had today's technologies at their disposal doesn't mean they'd have to make use of every single one of them ... Kraftwerk are not officially retired and are still touring btw, even if the current shows have been postponed. So they would have every opportunity to incorporate this sort of technology into their music. I have been to a couple of their gigs, but no autotune so far. Lol. Lastly, their latest studio record, Tour de France Soundtracks, was released in 2003. Autotune was well established by that time. However, no traces of it either on that record or on Expo 2000 (1999). I think it's just a question of style.
  8. Philosophically speaking, Kraftwerk is the modern equivalent of Kraftwerk, IMO.

I find your vocabulary very enticing!
  10. What? Those things are awful!1! They all taste the same: a little bit of nothing mixed with a lot of sugar. My parents used to buy them, and as a child I'd eat 'em out of boredom, but I couldn't fathom actually buying some for myself nowadays (or for someone I love, for that matter). If I don't get nostalgic about sweets or snacks I had as a child, they must be really bad, lol. Oh well, horses for courses, I guess. Don't want to denigrate anyone's taste in cookies. Are they still separated by those little paper cups inside the tin? Back then, that was kind of the best thing about them.
  11. It's really unfortunate that we can only react once to a post. This one would have qualified for a Haha, a Farnsworth and a burger.
  12. AFAIK, this movement is a melting pot for right-wing and left-wing nuts alike, as well as Reichsbürger, anti-vacchers, tinfoil hats, paranoid dope fiends and what have you. The crème de la crème, if you will.
