Ha! Oh man, the idea of someone naming their kid Wagon is more funny than I am able to justify. Or a dog/cat/anything. I'm definitely going to name something Wagon at some point.

Yeah, there's a lot of great stuff. I'm enjoying it a lot more on my second listen through. Love the continually evolving harmonics on fLh. It's holding my interest despite the repetition. A lot of these tracks mix together a few very repetitive elements with some other element that's constantly in flux. The fat bass synth in glos ceramic for instance... it's changing the whole time, while there's this rhythmic momentum that remains a constant alongside it. That is until around halfway through where it branches off into something else entirely. Very cool. Then g 1 e 1... again, really interesting harmonic exploration. That's another theme that keeps recurring in NTS. The synth sounds are just really harmonically rich. Harmonics take the place of melody, with lots of movement. It's a pretty fresh composing style I haven't heard much before. Same thing on nineFly. The growling bass on this one is dope af.

Did they actually collab at some point? In that case, your theory makes a lot of sense.

Well right now I'm loving the hell out of tt1pd. Those wide 3D noise clouds stretching and compressing all over the stereo field, that steady pulsing bass groove + that finely chopped snappy percussion right in the centre... such a cool, unique combo. The percussion reminds me of early Aphex drill 'n bass, but in a completely different context. Then it kind of shifts to half time halfway through. Fuck yeah. This is one fierce, sexy track. Oh man, then it gradually morphs into a fucked up shuffle groove. This is one of their best tracks to date, fuck me. 21 minutes well spent. Alright Acid Mwan Idle, let's have it. Is that a cricket chipping loop?? Ha, another track that doesn't really remind me of any other before it. Very hypnotic. I like how the various loops fall in and out of sync with each other. Could do with some more variation in this one personally. The changes are extremely satisfying when they do occur. Suggestions: keep those and edit it down to 7 minutes.

I was in the middle of listening to a new leaked Louis CK set, which had me laughing pretty hard, but paused it about a third of the way through because I had some shit to do. When I went back to it, the vid had been removed and appears to have been removed anywhere else it may have once been. Either that or my googling skills have really gone to shite. You'd think it would be on Pirate Bay or something. iirc it was over an hour long! FWS: finally used iirc in a post.

I hope Adam Jones incorporates a single maj7 chord somewhere. Just one. As long as that happens, I'm happy.

What if Jesus Christ's actual name was Jesus Chris and the extra T was merely a typo? Chris almighty, For Chris' sake, Merry Chrismas... Wouldn't that be something.

The Nasa instagram is an absolute horror show - 90% moon landing conspiracy nuts and flat earthers comprise the comments section. Sorry, I've never vented that anywhere and noticed this thread was available.

How does the World view America these days?

I would assume Kurt Russell would be more...cogent...with his tweets. Ah, good. I guess I'm just not sure why anyone would care then. Heheh sorry Nebraska, no offense intended. You are one of the #1 content providers here. Never stop. -

Ha. So is that actually Kurt Russel's twitter account? -
lol thank you aux. Truly. That's definitely a thought that's weighed heavily on me, and I think on her too. I do believe this is one of those once in a lifetime things, but one which has some leeway. Like... I don't think it's a "make your choice now!" situations. It's just a delicate one. Anyway, sorry to mung up the SFWP thread with something so far out of line with it. I was sleep deprived. Legit SFWP: there's so much light reflecting on my screen it's a goddamn mirror. And it's annoying that I read that as symbolism immediately after writing it. Fuck, I need to make some music...
