  1. "In 2013, Steinberg stated that it would no longer maintain the software developer’s kit (SDK) for the VST2 plug-in format, but the SDK would still be available as a subset of the VST3 SDK. Then in May 2018, Steinberg announced that starting in October, the subset will be eliminated." https://www.sweetwater.com/insync/vst-2-4-vs-vst-3-0-who-cares-you-do/ (not the most recent article but quite thorough) FWIW, I've switched to VST3 a while ago and haven't looked back. I've used them with Live 10/11, Reaper 5/6 and Architect on both OSX and Win10. Not a single issue in sight. I want my sessions to be futureproof. Note that Setinberg no longer delivers licence agreement for VST2 to new developers. Now, I'm very curious to see if this new format will take off https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=574861
  2. Peter Van Hoesen also has tons of total bangers that would 100% match the topic. Rrose has a few too.
  3. The whole EP in my signature
  4. Could be a publishing deal too.
  5. I forgot to list : Logos - North Vol.01 https://boomkat.com/products/north-vol-01
  6. Thank you so much ! I'm pretty sure I've listened to the tunes more than anyone else on this planet hehe (preparing the release, mastering it etc...) and Fluidity's an astonishing grower of an album. A true pleasure to work with William too.
  7. Confirmed Gabor Lazar's upcoming LP Huerco S - Plonk µ-Ziq - "Lunatic Harness 2" Mark Fell's book all the singles Mosca is likely to release next year the whole 3OP 2022 catalogue, obviously ;) Wishful thinking Ae RDJ Rrose (isn't a new LP rumored to be ready ?) Aisha Devi Barker MBV True Widow (I believe they've teased upcoming release at some point this year ?) Kelela Won't happen but eh Squarepusher - Methyl Orange
  8. Yeah I saw the IG story too. Talking about his IG stories, he shared few snippets of upcoming material over the year, and they were sensational : much funkier and more luxuriant than Source / closer to say Unfold... but with a very fresh new and expanded take on it. Super impatient. Aside from the obvious huge, huge bangers on Source, I didn't listen to it as much as I thought I would. I'd also love him to release bits of his stellar live sets.
  9. u-he Bazille & Mutable Instruments Elements= Oversteps Harmor = Kindohm Plogue OPS7 & Chipsynth MD = Egyptrixx (obviously talking vibes too)
  10. Tidal Cycles can manipulate tempo and time signatures in the most creative ways if you want.
  11. I really how he’s been using the Raster Noton soundpalette into a much more club-oriented context with each release. Bought and looking forward to the LP.
  12. Out now ! 1st post updated with BC player, promo text and full artwork. Kindly bumping the topic so that it won't get lost in the tons of BC Friday releases, the music on Salire is sublime, so do yourself a favor and grab a copy !
  13. Razor is awesome but I can't help ripping off Gabor Lazar's sound palette whenever I use it. Sumu could be a great alternative for similarly super sharp, shapeshifting sounds.

  15. Out now ! Digital release (inc. 24bit downloads) & limited Archive Edition, via 3OP Notein is Mersad Muminović, hailing from Hrvatska (Croatia), and 3OP presents to the world his stunning work Salire. Like vistas of wide open space. Crisp cool air on a spring morning with droplets of dew on each blade of grass. Salire will take you to places, to environments, to landscapes. Where you end up is up to you and how you interact with the story. Salire is a saga; expansive and enveloping. Salire is a fine wine. Salire is an oceanic voyage on a seaworthy vessel. As if some drone synth machinery from a bygone era was commandeered and recalibrated with firmware updates and paired with gracefully applied field recordings, Notein has constructed detailed textures, nuanced layers, and a narrative driven sonic journey that rewards both the active listener and the weary traveler. Washes of electrical and computed synthetic fabrics purify like pools of mana. Some say the modern world is succumbing to instant gratification, consumerism, fickle attention span, cheapening of art, and the tyranny of convenience. Salire stands tall and strong against these tides, like a monolith of structure upon the sands of chaos. It's the least percussive and most atmospheric/ambient 3OP release so far, and we're excited about that. Salire boldly defies genre or categorization: it's a classic, timeless work that that we are proud to release. -E Written and produced by Mersad Muminović Mastering by Nil Hartman Artwork by Andrew Bates I'll simply add that Salire is an absolutely gorgeous, enveloping and masterfully executed LP by @xox
  16. I suppose it's been fixed overnight, yay ! Generative sequencers + Elements = instant Oversteps vibes eh :)
  17. Instantly grabbed a license for Pro… but a bug with some W10 computers prevents me from activating my copy. Patience, patience, Andrew’s on it. Can’t wait to have Elements in my DAWs.

  19. Not a promo stunt or anything, upcoming 3OP by @xox aka Notein feels like classical music to me. It's by no mean a neo-classical records, and I'm not saying it was xox's intent, but I've listened to it a lot (obviously) and everytime it strikes me as what classical music could have been if it incorporated current technology and sonics to its palette. I'm vastly ignorant of how composers are currentky pushing the enveloppe in the genre though.
  20. I love the TransAll series. Saw him live back then, it was immense. Saw Xerrox live too, before the first volume was even announced, and it was beyond stunning.
  21. Thanks ! The whole LP is a collection of bangers hehe. I love it. I bet Calciate can melt a dancefloor too. Everyone might be my current favorite tune of the LP, though my pick is most likely to change frequently ?
  22. I'll just say hello pokk, nice to see you here ! I'll add that I'm a fan of the labels you run. Welcome ! Ps: sending you some redeem codes within the next few days too.
