don't know if asking this is allowed, but here goes.

does anyone have all (/most) of the autechre remixes in one collection which they could upload or guide me to? i'm guessing soulseek is an obvious option here, but not all that convenient :)

not so much that soulseek is inconvinient, just that finding and downloading every remix would take a fair bit of effort/time i imagine.

I don't think so, someone on Soulseek compiled pretty much all their remixes and is pretty common, they can usually be found as one big collection. I downloaded them. My Slsk name is futureimage so contact me if you can't find them.

Having spent countless hours and sufficient cash to buy a tropical island, all for the sake of tracking down every Ae remix and random track over the years since 1994, I now feel like I just plain wasted all my time and collateral. Had I known that, by the time the fancy new millennium rolled around, we would all be able to pocket the entire wad with a single click, I would have spent my youth doing something more productive. Like making my own music.

 

Live and learn. Or live and just feel like a twat. Whichever.

yeah, smallfish is alright. i originally had a so-so recording, but decided to try another mp3 and it sounds fine!

also, LUDD, aire kaaiya isn't a remix so i didn't include that in the list. the track is a perfect combination of autechre beats/melodies and nice vocals :)
