tube: Shepherds Bush, Hammersmith & City Line

Acid house & techno, rave classics and old skool anthems, breaks and general electro wonkiness...celebrating the sound of the Roland tb-303!

MIKE DRED aka KOSMIK KOMMANDO / UNIVERSAL INDICATOR

Rephlex legend and all round acid superstar, the man who alongside Aphex Twin is responsible for the notorious Universal Indicator series, Mike Dred plays a special decks-n-FX set (and maybe some hardware...)

SYNTHEME

Syntheme aka Louise Wood aka KoBi - Brighton's funky acid house queen! She played at the first ever I LOVE ACID back in April 2007 and absolutely rocked the place, we've been excited about having her play again ever since!

AGT RAVE CRU

Wonky electro pop nonsense, classics, rave anthems, chopped up with live acid & breaks... DJ Mag says "like Altern8 meets 2ManyDJs in fluoro coats and Orbital glasses...beyond insane!"...Spannered.org says: "The Chas & Dave of Rave... pure unadulterated fun"

KELP

Dorset based knob-twiddler and electronica bod Kelp, fresh from remix duty on various Myuzyk releases, digs out his Artificial-Intelligence era classics, acid house, and Detroit vinyl. Lush.

DJ JOHN POWER

Possibly London's most prolific electronic club promoter, DJ, and all-round music superhero - with nights such as The Poke, Warp's Xmas parties, Furthur, Spectrum, Pressure Sound, The Last Days of Disco, and many, many more to his name.

Mr. Power is somewhat of an institution at I LOVE ACID - where he regularly proves that sobriety and clean living have absolutely nothing to do with DJ'ing...last time had to be forcibly removed from the stage by the bouncers, as he was dancing on top of the bass-bins at 5am. Minutes later, he was back on top, flailing limbs and gurning like a bear chewing a bumblebee.

A legend in his own lifetime.

aye.

that release as KoBi on Balkan is fierce. I should know. Balkan is my new label :-) just a little delayed due to the fact of having to save up a shitload of money to get it all done.

it was meant to kick off this month, but its been delayed, however the tracks are all out being mastered now, so once theyre back, i start manufacturing, then once i have all 6 complete vinyls, the series goes ahead.

Holy shit the blue release looks like a line up of my fave artists all on one slab of goodness. I might just buy the others too, but that one is top of my list. Been ages since I actually wanted to buy something you have re ignited the fire nice one!

theyre good tracks too - really good

the goon one is immense, and the digitonal one is absolutely not what you'd expect - its a proper moody deep acid track...

its taken me a lot of years of putting on nights and releasing records (i used to run seed records, and worked with b12 relaunching them) to be in the position to gather a selection of artists & material like this. i've had my heart set on doing a project like this for a long time - its going to cost a lot of time, energy, and money, and doesnt actually recoup anything...but thats not the point.

each record will be available individually, but as theyre quite limited, it'll be available as an advance subscription first (which will work out cheaper than buying each records seperately anyways, and mean you get them as first)

i'll be announcing everything properly soon.

As long as it is just after the 20th I will snap them up. Sounds like you have put a lot of effort into this so all credit to you mate.

And one of Digitonal used to post on here, met him at a festival they were playing at, very nice guys and I love the 23 Things Fall Apart release.

Sorry, gabbing now I will be quiet. :embrassed:
