some suggest that if the rush comes primarily from the backwardness of the act, then there's often far less need for adaptation. Thoughts?

if you forced me to pick one, which you are (you're so forceful!) it'd be the rush.

like fred (i think) said, the 3 are intrinsically inseperable, but forced to pick one, i'd say that general backwardness seems to define the garbled ramblings and incoherent declarations of LUDD pretty well
