WATMM is mad retarded and slightly entertaining. My job is incredibly boring so I hang around. Most of the posts don't make any sense, but I'm sort of getting into it now that I've put on a tin foil cap and the subliminal messages are appearing more clearly. I like most of the music being discussed, although people seem overly obsessive about it. Some people posting in here definitely should get out more, maybe try socializing once in a while or to see a psychologist. So should I but I win because my cock is MASSIVE.

I'd like to know what happened to a few people. Denizen for example. I enjoyed his music. zkreso made some good art. A couple of things should make a return, Wallie Whale and "wail" for two. Also, "World's most" as a prefix phrase has long been part of my IRL and internal monologue lexicon, inc. the long periods where I didn't visit the site. I hope it's public domain. Can World's Most Johnsson or a WATMM scholar confirm?

 

As far as things being worse than x years ago, I think it's probably just the nature of online communities - and not unfixable. Just a good/not as good cycle perceptible by few or many, more noticeable when the more entertaining/charismatic members drop out or aren't as visible or when a BIFF rolls in. Time filters shit too. There are enough sniggerworthy or interesting posts and characters to keep me reading.

I joined for the music and stayed for the lols. :rdjgrin:

 

I actually tried to join way back when you guys were supposedly not accepting new members and felt kind of sad. Now I just stick around because where the hell else can I nerd out over Autechre, RDJ, and BoC (with the occasional Tom Jenkinson on the side) and also laugh my ass off?

 

This place also has the consistently best avatars of any community I've ever been in. The only thing I Don't like about this place is how many of you guys claim to be druggies or drunk when posting. :cisfor:
