I think I'm dying!

So, since I was a kid I've always suffered intermittent nose bleeds. Nothing too major, think it's been down to a weak blood vessel in my nose, however the last few days I've been menstruating from my face in a serious way. Serious enough to actually start worrying me - last night I blocked up my bathroom sink with blood, there was enough to coagulate in the pipe.

Obviously I'm not here seeking medical advice, doctor appointment already booked, but what could it be? Am I dying? Probably not, but what do the all-knowing sages at WATMM think?

if you lean forward and pinch your nose for over 5 minutes and it doesnt slow down or stop i've heard you should probably seek medical attention, at least that's what Dr Dean Adell says . I bet it's something pretty close to your actual nose that's causing the bleeding, i doubt it would be some sort of brain aneurism or something if that's what you're implying

Many years ago, I had a bad nosebleed that lasted for hours. I had to go to the hospital. It was attributed to high-blood pressure at the time. Note that I never had any problems with nosebleeds before or since.

Vomiting up coagulated blood is not a pleasant experience.

my girlfriend's mum gets this - it's nothing serious, although you might get faint from blood loss or something.... you need to go a doctor and they may recommend cauterising the inside of your nose to kind of seal it up. I think they do this with some sort of acid or similar and it may lessen your sense of smell and taste... go to the doctor though and no doubt they'll talk you through it all.

LOL!

Yeah, a few people have said it'll probably just need cauterizing. That sounds like fun. I haven't been to the doctor in 7 years, that's pretty mental. I'm all light headed this morning :o)

you're obviously celibate. you need to wank more to let the pressure out, this will stop the problem

+1 on the cauterising - my dad needed to have it done years ago, and it worked a treat. back then, i don't think they used acid though... i think they literally had to shove a searing hot thing up his nose
