It was the single (cassette) from Suzanne Vega's album, 99.9 F° - Blood Makes Noise. I had always taped any music I liked off the radio or TV (I used to record Doctor Who on PBS off the TV onto audio cassette before my parents broke down and bought a VHS recorder).
