Now it just sounds like the blues to me, even though it's all pentatonic and doesn't have the "blue note" (not sure if that's the right term) in the scale. Something about the progression and the overall horizontal and vertical structure of it. Also, Oversteps sounds WAY more Eastern to me, especially known(1) and pt2ph8. The tiny, intricate sounds were the perfect compliment to these creatures, building and spiraling into completeness. A harmony between organic life and mechanical process.
