This is actually class.

of course it's class!

mark fell on live performance:

"we focus on leaving the audience feeling cold, not just a lack of interest in trying to engage anyone, but more like deliberately avoiding this... no dynamic changes in beats or nodding heads behind powerbooks, just large, awkward, immobile slabs of form. Imagine a Zen Buddhist with unresolved emotional issues. For me, thats how this particular "vibe" relates to minimal or formal aesthetics."

wtf is mark fell wearing though

Well I think the last mix I listened to, not the 3 hour one a different one, I wasn't that impressed.

This is really enjoyable though.

3 hour one is great.

I might be thinking of a Mark Fell mix, there was so many going around at one stage I kinda lost track.

Interesting quote. There was another one floating around in an interview somewhere where he said he makes it a point to make his performances as uneventful as possible. When I saw him do a multistability set the most visually entertaining aspect was his john deere cap. Then again, both SND and Mark Fell have also put on club oriented shows with massive visuals...so not sure how that fits in with the above.

This is some serious artsy bullshit. In the end, it's just boring. Although, people trying to dance in the Boiler Room video are funny.

a lot of this set is danceable (apart from the middle part which also is a bit too much like a skipping house cd)

Erect at all things snd and Mark Fell, gonna download the podcast right now.

Am in agreement with Joseph on hoping there'll be a new LP.

LOL, at *lumpy space accent* "worst boiler room set evarrrr" comments on Youtube, already know I'm gonna enjoy this.
