"Autechre's third LP 'Tri Repetae' had a big effect on me in 1995 and I wanted to mark the 20 year anniversary by paying homage to the music (albeit unsanctioned). Covering two tracks from the album, I kept the composition similar to the originals and focussed on a rougher, more human gestural sound playing some of the parts by hand on guitars, pianet, xylophone and ribbon synth."
