Wow, was not expecting what I heard from that cover. "Oh Henry" in particular is fantastic from those two released tracks - Definitely have to remember to pick up this when it's out

Are there any other artists that do this smooth jazz and d'n'b / breakbeat fusion with such incredible detailed production ? Back in the day I remember 4 Hero - Two Pages being similarish, though Part 1 was a lot more Soul-y and Page 2 a lot more d'n'b-y with not much of a mixture between the two.

Really good, really like Oh Henry specifically....love the mellow jazz in the background, combined with the hectic rhythms ? Interested to hear the rest of it!

Looking forward to checking this out, even if, or maybe especially since it is quite different from Basinski's usual fare; don't get me wrong I love a good deal of his ambient, droney, tape loop-y side but smooth jazzy R&B plus breaks sounds fun... and Henry Grimes makes an appearance on one of the songs?! Even if it's not his usual free jazz side of things, that's another reason to check it out for me, right there
