Are you planning on doing any sets this weekend man? Thought I'd ask in general chat rather than in PM so all the watmm folk could get in on this.

UK WATMMers: Do you think the incest storyline between nurse Michelle Corrigan and her half-brother is a good idea for a lunchtime soap to tackle? If you're not sure, catch up on the last few episodes of Doctors via iPlayer. Thanks

depression 1 2 3

when i first started reading i thought, fuck you when i'm depressed i can hardly do anything. but apparently that's the important bit. it helps you concentrate on your problems by making you pretty much unable to do anything else. on page three it says if depression was a brain malfunction then getting the depressed person to express what's making him or her depressed would make things even worse. but in fact it helps lift the depression even sooner. fuck knows how they did that experiment, who the control group was, but anyway. counseling generally helps depression, and all that is is getting someone to express their problems. so, it turns out you're a shit depr…

we don't have a thread on this. even today, political divisions exist because of differing interpretations of the war. was reading some russian news site, even today they deny that the soviets did any bad shit during the war, and blame britain for egging on hitler and starting the war. what the fuck

Just to show that I'm not a Raging Sony Fanboy™, the upcoming game, Bayonetta (see video below) was recently demoed in Japan, and up until now, Sega (the publisher) and Platinum Games (the developer, made from ex-Capcom staff, along with the Devil May Cry producer) have shown the 360 version (as is the video below). Unfortunately, they showed the PS3 version at this demo, and it was blurry, the framerate was inconsistant, and looked inferior to the 360 version. It comes out late October in Japan on PS3/360 (January in the US I recall), so I guess there's still time to polish it and fix these problems, but it makes me sad as I was looking forward to this game. There's …

Should I move in with MS-DOS?
by Guest abracadabra- 24 replies
- 1.7k views
Pros: MS-DOS is cool. I will have people to come home to. Echo Park is around some better venues. Echo Park is not TOTALLY gentrified, meaning I would still be able to get awesome tacos. Drugs. The place has an awesome view of Downtown. Would be saving $80 I'd still have my own room Cons: I hate moving. Would be a little bit longer of a commute to school. Drugs. I really would miss my old neighborhood of Koreatown. I wouldn't have my own apartment. There's a steep fucking hill to his place that I am not looking forward to walking up and down every day.

Does anyone know any alternatives to paypal, used for ebay auctions? So I haven't sold on ebay for a while, but i've certainly bought stuff. I started selling again yesterday and so far 2 items i'm selling have sold. The 1st one, fine, money went to my paypal, I shipped it out today. Yay. The 2nd however, paid, but now paypal has put a freakin hold on the payment until, the buyer leaves me feedback, or they can confirm the item has shipped. THIS IS INSANE! I've had an ebay and paypal account for 10 years, have 100% feedback, and never had an issue that wasn't easily resolved in an auction. I see their policy is if you have under 100 feedback and sell over 100 dol…

Hay guys, You'd never mistake ol' Bob here for Generalissimo Banter, but I figured I'd hang this one up like flypaper and see what creatures of your collective wisdom land on it. Long story short, Mrs. Dob and I are moving back to America (Rhode Island) after two solid, action-packed years here in Dublin. In fact she already went back a month ago (for work) whilst I had to stick around to wrap up my Masters degree. So as a present for finishing my thesis (I just submitted this past Friday) she bought me a roundtrip ticket to Amsterdam for 5 days. So yeah, my wife is awesome. Which brings us to the crux, I've never taken a holiday anywhere by myself before. …
