Bogdan Raczynski - Rave 'Till You Cry (2LP)
Soloman Tump replied to Rubin Farr's topic in New & Upcoming Releases
Probably. But this way gives minimal money back to the label / artist, with most going to the tax dodging corporate wanksocks -
Happily not watching anything right now. Will no doubt get caught up in the GoT final season when that kicks off though

It's a lot to fit into one movie. Some serious good editing needed - hope they pull off a good geek / cult movie even if I can't see it doing well at the B.O

If only it all got re-released via the bleepstore. HD version of each track, take my money!

Interesting, I read mixed reviews of the SoftPop synth and watched a couple of videos that made it seem overly complicated and glitchy. Like, its fine making glitchy sounds but you want some degree of repeatability with it. Thyme looks like they threw in a load of effects - hope you learn to tame the beast

Yep, I love this recent effort at Swamp Thing (as documented previously in this thread). I also read the Animal Man series. Not as great but ties in nicely and you need it to make full sense of the Rotworld crossover. Bloody crossovers.

SNARERUSH / INTRUSIVE SIGNALS zines
Soloman Tump replied to Soloman Tump's topic in Music Discussion
Website updated. http://www.snarerush.co.uk/ You can now view issue #4 online (hard copies all gone) Still some of Issue 5 left if anyone wants a copy. Issue 6 being worked on - got a great couple of interviews lined up and some other cool content, stay tuned for updates.... Excited for this issue! *edit* All zine orders now come with a SNARERUSH fridge magnet :-) If you want to join the mailing list, send me a DM or e-mail zine@snarerush.co.uk ~~~~~~~~ Having a rethink on Bullwallet; really difficult to do Autechre justice with my limited resources / time / budget. Keeping it on the back burner for now unless I manage to get a shit load of spare free time suddenly (kek) -
Just about to start Monstress TP2, a great story so far and the art is gorgeous.

Yeah, will listen to a few for sure. Plenty of Merzbow I have never heard, so a good opportunity to dive into some of the rarer stuff and hear some critique on it.

Amon Tobin - Fear in a Handful of Dust
Soloman Tump replied to ghOsty's topic in New & Upcoming Releases
it is indeed. Thread needs renaming plz mods. I guess "an ambitious album release schedule for the year ahead" didn't fit with how Ninja wants to do things, unless Nomark is a sub -
That's why I know I can't start modular

Amon Tobin - Fear in a Handful of Dust
Soloman Tump replied to ghOsty's topic in New & Upcoming Releases
I "quite" enjoyed the ISAM live thing I caught at Brixton Academy. But I distinctly remember enjoying LORN more who was on first, then also Tobin's DJ set afterwards in a small club around the corner. The ISAM hype didn't really live up to expectations after seeing it all on youtube multiple times before. Keen to hear this release though. Regardless of the BPMs. -
