in my opinion, the most important thing for you to do is listen to this Carl Stone song

But as far as albums go, if you wanna get freaky, check out Rojin Sharafi - Urns Waiting To Be Fed. And if you want something less freaky, check out Sam McQueen - Dreams In Sepia

Honestly I started to tune out somewhat over the pandemic. Life (and death) caught up with me and I just didn't have as much time to give a shit about musics, so I don't have too many favourites from the last 3-4 years.

But off the top of my head, some of my dadtronica klassixxxx (aside from the big boys with their own subforums) would be

proc fiskal insula

bola DEG

pritchard under the sun

Rian treanor did that thing way back where he rearranged the audio in pop songs in sequences of most alike snippets of sound....can't find it anymore.  This track sounds like that.

This sounds like a Nathan Barley playlist. 😳

Ah yeah the ravedit EP

It's cool but I feel like Carl Stone's stuff is doing something a bit different with the instability.

Nice. I enjoyed his album Plant Age a lot as well, also from 2018.

Do live-shows sold on a website mastered and provided in 24bit WAV count as well?

These albums basically came out when the decline in music listening began

I don't even like Syro. Least favourite major release by Richard by a country mile. Reading through the artists on this thread, I've heard a fair few of them but the majority don't do much for me. I also realise, which I hadn't before, Elseq is my number 1 by some superior distance. Total masterpiece.

I‘ve discovered around 200 new artists in the last 5 years and this is a short selection of some that stood out + some artists like LORN which are known around here.
