i dont think its horrible, but i can easily understand the disappointment.

alot of people who didnt grow up listening to much hiphop early breakbeat and rave stuff probably find it hard to understand why autechre is so into it and how it had a great influence over their music. I personally would prefer to hear weirder music, instead of a trip down Sean and Rob's musical infancy. I would almost just rather hear them fire up one of their maxmsp patches and just let it run.

 

i just hope we at least get a couple unreleased AE tunes out of this like we did last time (ie: Panic remix)

If they heard the That Other Site™ marathon mixes they can't really be that surprised whats playing now. Their is some genuine surprise from some n00bs which shouldn't be the case.
