edit: yeah those trojan box sets can be dope too if you just want a mix of stuff.

when it comes to old reggae and jamaican ska, i just have tonnes of compilations as opposed to actual artist things. lee perry's awesome though

^ Yeah Steel Pulse for sure! Listen to Chant a Psalm by them- one of my favorite Reggae tracks. Of course, Exodus by Marley is classic. Peter Tosh - Legalize it, any Tubby, Scientist, Lee Perry for dubby stuff.

 

I like the Blood and Fire Heavyweight comps (1,2 and 3) as well for a nice mix of known and lesser-known artists.
