I don't know how he does it, but every game Yoko Taro makes ends up with amazing music. "Recorded from real Sega Genesis, Model 2 w/ASIC YM3438 +MegaAmp mod": Once the title track of Road Rash 2 builds up its straight bliss: youtube.com/watch?v=4GJgDWZohmI Howard Drossin's work on the late Comix Zone was also fantastic in making use of the grungy sound, both literally and figuratively (albeit a little bit samey).
