It kinda does, yeah. It was good but didn't quite click with me, I don't like the score-rating, but yeah ... dunno 6/10 maybe.

Dreamed about this today - if you understand German this will fuck you up - otherwise I don't know:

With my limited knowledge of the genre, I'd say the build-up reminds me a bit of Godspeed, but once the voice kicks in, it's quite different. Again, it's silly to rate, 8/10.

Just making this post to tell you which Neubauten-Stuff you should look into:

[youtubehd]R-3U8ptemEk[/youtubehd]

lyrics:

Feed my ego!

Feed my ego!

Feed my ego!

Let’s get more vodka

Russian vitamins

I think we’ll have to go back there

I think the guy’s already gone to bed

Definitely! Never!

Draw!

Never sleep! All lies!

Powdered pleasures!

Telephone! Draw!

Don't you hear it?

A fixed idea darts through the room

Riemenschneider carves it on the whorls of my brain

dowels itself into my head

later on

you can hang shelves on it, or…

Draw! Telephone! But really now,

tell me, can’t you hear that?

Draw! That burns like crazy!

Feed my ego!

Feed my ego!

Feed my ego!

I am the whole Chinese people

and YuGong can move mountains

and everything is important

what are we talking about the whole time?

Draw! Ssssh!

Numb your ideals

numb your ideas

or simply your teeth

in my mouth anyway it’s all gone rotten

and my nose has direct access to the brain

I’m 6 m tall and everything is important

I’m 9 m tall and everything is more than important

I’m 12 m tall and everything is inconceivable

feed my ego!

feed my ego!

Feed my ego à gogo

Draw!

I am the whole Chinese people

and Yukong can move mountains

I am 6 m tall

I am 9 m tall

I am 12 m tall and

feed my ego

feed my ego

feed my ego

tonight!

Never sleep

all lies

Powdered pleasures

lyrics:

Get up!

Stars in my eyes

Fingers like ice

what should I do when

I wake up trembling?

And the room looks topsy-turvy.

The Ce-En-Es it dances the

Ce-En-Es it dances the Ce-En-Es

It dances the Ce-En-Es it

circulates

the circulation

it all relates in circles

all along the wall

swings and roundabouts.

The Ce-En-Es it dances the

Ce-En-Es it dances the Ce-En-Es

It dances the Ce-En-Es it

the blackout

can’t remember a thing

testcard is dancing

close-down is dancing

white noise is dancing

1, 2, 3 and 4, the Ce-En-Es it dances the

Ce-En-Es it dances the Ce-En-Es

It dances the Ce-En-Es it…

What’s going on here?

What’s going on here?

What’s going on here?

Something wrong? What’s going on

here!

The Ce-En-Es it dances the

Ce-En-Es it dances the Ce-En-Es

It dances the Ce-En-Es it

stimulates

it dances stimulants be-yond

good and evil.

“That which does not kill me

makes me stronger”

Friedrich N stop The Ce-En-Es it dances the

Ce-En-Es it dances the Ce-En-Es

It dances the Ce-En-Es it…

Can you hear that whizzing?

Can you hear that whirring?

Don’t drive me crazy.

Stop pulling

stop tugging

I’m already coming

or isn’t that you?

The Ce-En-Es it dances the

Ce-En-Es it dances the Ce-En-Es

It dances the Ce-En-Es it…

Makes a song and dance

queasy stomach, be sure to eat

don’t think about it

don’t think about it at all

nothing to think about

The multivitamins it dances

The Ce-En-Es it dances the

Ce-En-Es it dances the Ce-En-Es

It dances the Ce-En-Es it…

That’s quite enough

I think I’ll be off

A complete club of idiots

say goodbye

say goodbye

say goodbye

to the nervous system!

^From the album "Halber Mensch" (Half Man) - pretty straight forward insane stuff from the 80's, back in their "darker days".

Later releases are also great, but a little tamer. I particularly like "Perpetuum Mobile".

[youtubehd]i3dzy-y1xI8[/youtubehd]

lyrics:

Across the scarfaced terrain

slowly disappearing

only phantom pain remains

Scarcely audible foul laughter seeps out

from the red Info Box

making some turn quietly in their graves

Nothing but future ruins

material for the next layer

Mela, Mela, Mela, Mela, Melancholia

Melancholia, mon cher,

Mela, Mela, Mela, Mela, Melancholia

floats over the new city

and over the land

Over the control centres

over the stubble fields of concrete

over the secret net of bunkers

refusing to be wiped out

Marlene go home!

also over the Marlene-Dietrich-Platz

The new temples are already cracked

future ruins

one day grass will also grow over the city

over its final layer

Mela, Mela, Mela, Mela, Melancholia

Melancholia, mon cher,

Mela, Mela, Mela, Mela, Melancholia

floats over the new city

and over the land

In the lascerated sky

flown to bits by the jets rehearsing

she hangs with widespread wings

sleepless and with frozen gaze

pointed at rubble

behind her the future piling up

slowly she flies higher and higher

at last surveys the entire land

What is the lay of the land?

What is the lay of the land?

What is the lay of the land?

What is the lay of the land?

^This one is from "Silence Is Sexy" which is also good.

Their style is incredibly versatile yet they don't really have any miss-album imo. They even got one on which they read out their own version of Goethe's Faust accompanied by the sounds of them smashing a stage, creative lunatics is what they are. If it wasn't for them, I'd probably not be posting on this board in the first place (my nickname is also kind of related to them).

(rate which ever one you like, or don't rate my post at all)

Guest Infinite Bro Times

In all honesty the only brodrone I listened to was Stars of the Lid but this was really nice, I was especially fond of these parts somewhere around 1:40 where the bass was sort of fluctuating

I dunno if that was on purpose but I liked it because I'm just that kind of bro

Spoildered because the picture is dirty

SEX IS BAD BRO

This song has a lot of bad youtube interference at least I think there is I'm listening using really high quality bass earbuds sound-blocking too so I could be having the wrong judgments bro but for some reason I LIKE the youtube static it adds to it at certain points

plus there's this part around uhh 3:07 where this glitchy little voice gets added in in the background

I LOVE THAT

FUCKING GREAT

10/10 because I don't really see any way they could have improved upon that. Musicianship is top notch and the progression is quite unusual for the genre, one of the best ska tunes I've ever heard.

I don't ordinarily listen to music while internetting, but I decided to go youtube music diving just so I'd have something to contribute to this thread. This was my last and favorite discovery:
