Mortal - Deco is one of my favorite albums from that mid-90s golden era. Only discovered it a few years ago, but since then I’ve been a massive fan of Mortal/CODE.

There is a new release of reworks of old tracks and some new stuff that Further Electronix brought to light, that is well worth checking out.

Mortal/CODE are great, Deco is almost perfect! Yeah, found out about them when someone on WATMM posted a YouTube link for a track of their The Architect album ?

Continuum is great, I do enjoy most of the instrumental tracks best. Too bad the digital has 4 tracks less than the unobtainable FE vinyl release.

Had the new Metallica album on in the van today. Thought I'd play it for a laugh.

Some of it, actually a lot of it, sounded suprisingly quite good. But it was drifting in and out of focus as I was busy so its hard to tell for sure.

Definitely looking forward to another spin.

The Amnesiac b-sides are all stellar. Fast-track, the Amazing Sounds of Orgy, Trans-Atlantic Drawl, Kinetic, Worrywort, Cuttooth, Fog. Some are better than stuff that ended up on the album, imo. What a great period that was. I bought a lot of those singles on CD. They're worthless now of course but at the time I thought I was a cool collector IMG_5444.gif.08ce9e3e74adeefbc659a291cc68eed7.gif

Was thinking the same thing today. The CD version of the OK Computer B Sides was worth a minor fortune back in the day. I have a copy somewhere. Actually I know exactly where it is. Now, like you say it’s probably worth nothing. Pretty sure it was fetching a price of £50 on eBay before Spotify.

Oh yeah there's a lot of gold in that batch too. Meeting in the Aisle is such a cool and weird anomaly of a track. Polyethylene was an old fav as well. Hmm this takes me back :music:
