The band have released a statement regarding their second album of 2012:

the album is titled NO LOVE DEEP WEB

we are working on 20 tracks and looking to narrow down to 13.

it will be released by epic records in the us and columbia in the uk.

the release is scheduled for fall 2012. most likely late october.

we are in correspondence with Crispin Glover and working toward a video collaboration with him relating to this album.

we've been recording the album primarily in sacramento , ca. and oakland , ca. for the past five months.

we will be mixing it in shanghai , china.

there are no manually programmed drums on this album ,

the beats are being played live on a roland electronic v-drum set or acoustic drum set by zach.

there are no features , guest collabs or outside producers.

the material is cold , bass heavy , minimal , rock & roll influenced and could simultaneously fit into a rave or dance club context.

it is essentially rap and electronic music while at times extremely aggressive.

we plan on supporting this release live internationally.

*the track that comes out sept.10 as part of the adult swim series is a previously unreleased track from the Money Store and is totally unrelated to the new album NO LOVE DEEP WEB.

NO LOVE DEEP WEB is another sound and vibe entirely.

There's also a new track available from adult swim here, which is supposedly an unreleased single from The Money Store.

Oh and one last thing, there's a supposed album cover on their website. Here's a link but be warned, it's extremely NSFW.

This track was leaked yesterday by a guy subscribed to my youtube channel. He found it as a hidden file on their site. May or may not be from TMS No Love Deep Web.

fixed. Definitely not from The Money Store.

I love this band, but I hope the new album cover is not a dick.

No kidding. TMS had such a badass cover. This would just be stupid. Hilarious, but stupid.

Really don't like the beginning of the album, but it picks up on the title track and from then on its just... wow. hell yes.

Favorite so far is Lock Your Doors.

I've never been able to fully get into Death Grips... I get what they're going for, and I've tried both albums, not feeling it.

i listened to it this morning on my monitors in my studio...not going to be doing that again any time soon. their 'loose and raw' production style on this album and the last is mostly just fucking annoying.

there's some good tracks on there but definitely some misses. curious how it'll grow on me.

I can see how it would be annoying. In fact I was a little wary of putting it on full blast for fear that my housemates would think terrible things were happening here. But then I said fuck that and played it loud. Very good listening experience. Reminding me how much I used to listen to/play gratingly aggressive and loud music (my tastes have become so tame...)

i can actually imagine how the production could get annoying on monitors. but i think that this wasn't made with nerds with monitors in mind, same as the last one. i listened to the last one a LOT on headphones with an ipod and it fucking kicked ass.

one track in, fuck me, that bass is... errr. punishing.

The bass on this is 100x more present than on The Money Store.

It's funny because the free downloads of the few tracks from TMS that were available prior to the record release sound like they were mixed/mastered differently. If you compare them to the versions on the release, the free downloads have WAY more bass. Much more raw.

I wouldn't doubt that Epic is afraid of their "in the red" sound. Who knows if that has something to do with all of the hooplah going on.

I heard they were planning to release the unmastered version of TMS soon. those are probably the "more raw" tracks you're referring to.

Oh man, I hope you are right. I also hope they release it for free... :emotawesomepm9:

I haven't finished the whole new one yet. So far, I am digging!

Liking this one a lot...
