so uh, they just made a big Hurdy Gurdy? kinda stupid if ya ask me

seems like a cool concept, but i'd like to hear more in depth examples of the audio only. The musical example in the background imo is not a good display of it's possible power. I'd like to hear just straight chords emulating the performance of a swelling cell or violin. From the brief samples I can hear it sounds too metallic to emulate the sound of any traditional orchestra string instrument. The worst part of the clip is when he's playing the part around 2:16, it sounds very odd almost like a sampler, which sort of defeats the purpose. Something like this would be awesome though with slide and built in vibrato capability.
