regarding the analord / the tuss style or not style of music a quick analysis will help

just to mention (to me) the prior releases of RDJ in general

SAW 85/92

SAW II

ICBYD

MFM

RDJ

Drukgs

Analord

don't you see a major evolution albums after albums ?

the only two album that are really similar are ICBYD and RDJ because they somehow made to hit the mainstream imo

the next level will obviously be something fresh and not similar than what we already know

Yeah, if the sequence is to be respected, I don't think our generation is ready for what is to come. Maybe Richard should keep the new stuff inside the vault for another 10 years..

Are we going to blow up or something? Release our bowels at the sound? :)

plus i don't think RDJ has his "i don't give a shit" style anymore, he's more mature and will definitely think wisely of every moves

he probably has chosen those tracks for Syro really closely or maybe has produced them specially for it

lol, it's funny, when i went for piss in this westfield shopping centre toilet after two too many steins at the german club for lunch, the end of this song that i had never heard before had this chap crooning. "it's all been done before, it's all been doone before, it'ssss allll been done, beeefore." Strange, but true. As for the sentiment contained within the lyrics, i don't want to argue with a bunch of children that aren't old enough to realise yet that i'm right.

You're not wrong. There will be the squidge of the 303, throaty formant modular basslines, tricky hi-hats, ghostly Rhubarb pads, treated pianos of all stripes, KTPA bloooops, a snare rush if we're lucky, etc. It will have been done before. However, I see your Barenaked Ladies and raise you a Carly Simon

good point but !

i remember somebody sayin he took time to release this album because he had trouble to find the best studio to convert the sound and mixing/mastering stuff

convert means 100% analog music, if he had some process like his rush snares and fast rhythm style, it had needed a computer so the process goes numeric and doesn't need a conversion

i'm probably pushing this far but if he needs to convert his music, it's maybe because it's not processed numerically

OH! Lol. Yeah that. I thought he kinda cared up until Drukqs, based off of interviews. Seemed really burnt out to have had like.. 50 releases within a decade or something right?

a specific interview has attested to his interest in pointing at walls and acclaiming little difference between the wall, himself, himself now and reality into infinity. i'm some of the way there but not really. Too obnoxious and self centred problee. nevr gon telLwatm wot b.

Holy Jesus Tapdancing Christ....

I hope so.

Even in the "HQ" live rips, my body has a weird response to that track. I can feel my spine tingle, and it's like I want to emote or cry or some weird shit but it's completely irrational.

The chords have a literal physiological effect on me and that is interesting to say the least! Will investigate further but yeah, hope that's on the album lol.

It's weird to see sound dictate my emotions lol

Why is that weird? That's my whole basis of being drawn towards making/listening music. Not trying to say that's the only way, but its the only way I know.

Sounds like Ceephax having a piss tbh...

The sound palette and quality seems to be 100% ceephax.
