Somebody is trying to scam me. Help me to respond.

Let’s have a bit of fun here. Before that let me tell you what’s going on here.

 

Long story short: I have few instrument in the internet for sale. They’ve been in there about half of month and then some fellow named Taraba Yana said he will buy all of them (he could be a woman too). That would be like 1250e. I couldn't belive it first, but wait it's getting unrealer: this chump lives in Spain and he said that he has hes own shipping company. Right? He said that he will pay me through paypal and somebody will come here and pick my stuff in Finland. How the hell did he even find my sales ad? I've put my stuff only to finnish sites.

Scammers seems to have a shortage of new scams to scam. Let's scam him harder. Help me WATMM.

What instruments are you selling?

You should say that one of them belonged to Ceephax and might be worth a few more ££££

The mpc1000 belonged to Ceephax, it even has a beer stain on the side from a live gig and a planet mu sticker on it.

 

Mike Paradinas has probably touched it more than once.

 

Can we up the price by £30? We don't want to be greedy but this lovely piece of kit has its place in history.

Ask him for a scan of his Musician's Guild photo ID.

 

Also let him know that while the equipment was used to make music for porno films and even appeared on screen a few times, to the best of your knowledge no one has had sex on (or with) it.

Oh crap I almost forgot! There's a one thing about my Yamaha that you should know: there might be some traces of... uh 'manly liquids' on it. Before I bought it I heard it was used in an adult film. But don't worry, it doesn't effect the sound or anything. It's ust a bit slimy on the top.

Maybe get racist on him and ask if Spanish people and Mexicans are the same thing.

I think the better one would be to overtly imply that Spain and Portugal are the same place

Tell him you can fit it all in your car and you can drive across Europe to meet him in Spain. You always wanted to visit the lovely island of Spain! If you set off tomorrow you can be there by Monday. What's his address?
