olde EM:T label from Nottinghan

Any frazzled veterans remember this old Notts ambient/lazy groove/slow house label?  A lot had psycho-active frogs on the sleeves.

Think Charles Webster had some input as the in-house engineer at EM:T's studio in Notts and his House legacy is mind-boggling

Nah Woob 1194 is fucking brilliant*. That first Gas album is brilliant too, and the International People's Gang record. When they reappeared around 2001 they didn't quite have the same quality control, but still some nice albums. They were planning to work with Off Land at one point but then the label went under and nothing came of it sadly...

*not taken with his recent Bandcamp stuff. Tons of albums, lots of nice analogue sounds, but just nothing actually interesting or different.

Top label - the Lucid Dreams album with Celia Green should be compulsory listening for those interested in out of body experiences. Em:t used to be known as Time before and released dodgy prog house records.
