  1. Thank you @MIXL2. I will check both tracks out. Do you know of any other? @KovalainenFanBoy this is actually less about being a theorist. BoC themselves spoke about using maths in their music quite a few times. Since I am neither a mathematician nor a musician, I just want to figure out where I can actually hear this.
  2. BOC repeatedly mentioned that sometimes they compose melodies or enture tracks using the Fibonacci sequence or fractals or other mathematical frameworks. I've been researching for some examples on this in their music but couldn't find anything yet. I know that some tracks / albums follow a very symmetric design, i.e. a palindrome. But in regards to Fibonacci and fractals I can't it in their music. Can you name a few examples?
  3. Lovely mix by KMRU. And available as limited tape via Bleep. https://seefeel.bandcamp.com/track/rapture-to-rupt
  4. Just in time, a Records Revisited for Chiastic Slide out on HHV Mag: https://www.hhv-mag.com/en/feature/11913/records-revisited-autechre-chiastic-slide-1997
  5. Love the releases. Hate the prices. 49 € for Accelerator? 37 € for We Have explosive? Come on! Are they starting directly with Discogs prices nowadays?
  6. Portrait of Seefeel under their Legends section by HHV Mag: https://www.hhv-mag.com/en/feature/11633/seefeel-music-in-vacuum
  7. 37 € for the vinyl? I hate RSD with all my heart. Apart from that the tracks are ok but unnecessary. The originals are perfect and Lifeforms was re-released some years ago.
  8. Just watch 13th on Netflix and you'll know.
  9. Hm, the tapes or the cds? Love the tapes but have nothing to play them with... Or any chances for a vinyl box? ?
  10. Autechre are too good to us! ?
  11. Try http://uk.thelion.me/nts/
  12. My last Autechre review, like... ever http://www.hhv-mag.com/de/review/10243/autechre-nts-sessions And tonight I will listen to NTS 3 & 4 for the first time and it will be from vinyl. Cumshots ahead.
  13. I totally relate to that. I decided to not download sessions 3 & 4 and wait until I receive the 12 LP box. I want to listen to them first time on vinyl. Are there any ideas, what hardware / software they used for the sessions? Without knowing much about the technological side of electronic music, my first guess was modular system... They used a programming environment called MaxMSP which allows them to design their own instruments virtually. So hardware was only computers and maybe some controllers they connected to their MaxMSP patchesThanks. I have to admit I thought they had moved on from MaxMSP. Don't ask for me a reason though...
