Prologue: this was an idea formed by Adjective for the purpose of getting to know one another. i encourage the entirety of WATMM to use this idea/platform to interview other WATMMMEMBERS, if they wish. What I Know About Joyrex: (AKA: my current perspective) -founder of WATMM, and therefore respected for this reason. otherwise a non-contributing administrator who makes an overly "dad-like" thread about something that's either extremely jazzB7 or just not that funny altogether. -has made banning choices that i disagree with, strongly, in the past; which has lead to some (minor) resentment for him. What I Hope To Achieve With This Interview -gai…

Well, I just got finished riding around the city, and I wanted some ice cream. I usually buy the cheap, store brand vanilla frozen yogurt. It doesn't have any trans fat, and it's only 3 bucks. But, today was the hottest day of the month so far, so, of course, the store is all out of the cheap stuff. The next best option costs twice as much for the same amount. "Nestle Real Dairy" frozen yogurt. I figured it was the same as the store brand, just repackaged in a brand name container (a very common occurrence), but there was nothing else worth getting, so I grudgingly paid the $6. Turns out, it's actually pretty good. A serious improvement on the store brand. And it …

so i don't know a whole lot about this i must admit i was quick to adapt the "fuck israel" attitude from the start. but now that i've thought about it and watched other people do the same thing, mindlessly, "fuck israel," it has started to smell like SHIT. whats going on here? i wouldn't be thinking about this if it wasn't said that during "the rapture" there would be a huge war between everyone and israel or something. and also that the waters would go black. etc. it's bullshit, but it's got me thinking about this all.

Frasier DVD Spines
by Guest bitroast- 23 replies
- 2.1k views
I'm currently mildly fascinated with how totally dull and completely uninteresting the Frasier DVD designs are. Each season of Frasier on DVD has it's own distinct colour, which is nice enough. The front cover is just a random promo shot of the cast smiling, with the back being random screenshots of the episodes. The inside of each DVD case is the exact same design as the outside but with an episode list planted somewhere to the left (this design recycling is disgraceful!). It's the DVD spines that really amuse me. For some hilarious reason, the designers decided to limit themselves in using only pictures of Frasier smiling, or of Eddie the dog. Eleven seasons of the …

Step 1. Lock tire of crappy stolen bike to nice expensive bike. Step 2. Come back at midnight. Step 3. Unlock, cut other locks. So, I've been here 3 hours now, waiting for security to show up and cut this asshole's lock off my bike. It's raining. :\

Bombring - Resurrect Chang
by Guest maus- 1 reply

so there was this band "bombring" on the last p168 go-around. turns out that bombring has recorded a full-length LP due out in august, and they have released a video for the first single, "resurrect chang". when i say "they", i mean "me and some other guys". of note is the fact that one of our members is the guy who sang the theme song to the recent battlestar galactica series. that's true. anyway, the video is here: http://www.vimeo.com/12494174 apparently vimeo videos don't embed... but youtube sucks, so there we are. anyway, it's kinda catchy. it's also very tongue-in-cheek. but also not. but then, it is. and it's also not. the album…

Animal abilities 1 2

I was wondering the other day.. Evolutions drive has of course made us and all other living creatures and through it, it has given rise to our particular brains and given us the ability to invent. Now, we know other animals have other better senses than us, far better in many cases such as hearing, sight and so on. I don't have time to list more, but a couple spring into mind; male horned dung beetles were able to pull 1,141 times their own body weight - the equivalent of a person dragging six fully-laden double decker buses, dogs smell, bats hearing (or sonar), bee's eye sight.. Wikipedia quote on shark repellant: So, we've got creatures that use electri…
