Wow just saw this abortion of a movie last night. Have to say though that the atmosphere at certain parts was cool but horrifically unfaithful to the book in so many ways. Sting and Patrick Stewart were amusing. What I can't wrap my head around is how someone with no prior knowledge of Dune is supposed to do anything but turn this movie off after the first half hour. I hear a new Dune is in production...will anyone ever do it any justice? P.S. It never rains on Arrakkis...someone should kill the producer

Why is it that the majority of people who listen to electronic music never even heard of IDM? I always meet people who are like "Yeah, I listen to alot of electro music" some of them even DJs And I'm like, "Cool, what kinds of electro music?" and they'll be like "Trance, Dubstep, Happycore, House, Speedcore" And I'm like "Ever heard of IDM?" Someone brought up Watership Down as being the most IDM film ever made...I disagree, but Watership Down did have a severe impact on me as a child. I'm pretty sure I only saw it once, but the impression was major. I just remember the starkness, the blood... I've watched this before but now that I watch it again, I feel even more frustrated. And as I do, I can kind of imagine how it must be to be "proven" wrong as a so called true believer of some sort.
