http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wrvHaXfp_WQ Any speak and read Japanese? I'd like to know exactly what they're saying in this. This trailer doesn't blow me away but I'm crossing my fingers that we get some old-school Kitano carnage in this return to his yakuza-eiga roots.

So I was taking a dump today and reading some scribblings on the wall of the stall. I hadn't used this particular bathroom before, and as I read I became more and more drawn to the conclusion that I had to post the transciption here. - HARD WORK BEATS NATURAL TALENT ANY DAY! - Nothing beats a hard worker with natural talent - True - If you are an untalented person than hard work is useless - That is just stupid - Being a hard worker is a talent - To be a talented person it takes alot of hard work - Thanks. You sound like an 11 year old. Or seven. - This convo is retarded. I had a threesome with two other girls. HOW'S THAT FOR TALENT BIA…

Ok, so I've noticed that a good 60-70% of customers at my cafe just throw/lay their cash on the counter. The other percentage put it in my hand. Now, I could understand if you are a germaphobe, not wanting to have direct contact with someone (even tough it wouldn't really be effective) but I've experimented, and placed peoples change back on the counter, instead of their hand, and they give me the dirtiest look. I always put my hand out, and it just baffles me that people still place the money on the counter next to my hand, but want me to hand their change directly to them. Then there are the people who literally toss it on the counter, crumpled up. Or they …

Can we get a lesson on it? Don't get me wrong, I love it, but 95% of the time I've seen it so far, it seems like it's used out of context.

Just looked outside through the upstairs window in my house and saw what I thought was the pub that I work at on fire!! A massive orangey/red growth on top of the roof! Then to my amazement (and slight disappointment) I realised it was actually the moon! It's fucking MASSIVE!! Why does this happen? It's so beautiful...expect some pictures when it gets high enough to take some. cool story bro etc...

he has inoperable, terminal prostate cancer and is not going to be around for very long so i think an appreciation thread is in order. ive always loved his manic, crazy intensity. blue velvet and easy rider are probably what hes best known for but hes been in so many films its insane. he also directed the near masterpiece 'out of the blue', a film thats incredibly under appreciated. a great actor and director whos stature in film history will only grow with time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4mL_pc8T1M&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4TAixFYnDh4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snhiofL2Rh4

...I may be happily married for a good few years, and thus ignorant of the vast array of choice out there, but I refuse to believe that nos. 18 and 30 exist at all, they are merely attempts to draw by kids. So who out there can tick off the most in their spotters notebook?

Has anyone here seen this movie? I watched it last night expecting something sorta meh but fun, but I was pleasantly surprised. The movie has a constant slew of twists and surprises that deepen and darken the twisted story of the Elysium spaceship. Without spoiling anything, it's about 2 guys that wake up from being frozen in cryogenic tubes in a space ship. They encounter severe memory loss (as a result of being asleep MUCH longer than they were supposed to be) and can't remember what the mission was. The whole movie is essentially about space madness but they encounter a very dangerous form of life on the ship. If you aren't fully convinced, read the following parti…
