A couple of weeks ago a hospital porter told the good doctor a tale that would bring a tear to the eyes of man. This porter used to work security at the old royal (hospital) back in the 1990's and place was like an open sewer, infested with vagrants, tramps, alkys, junkies, bums and slumdogs. All the cities human waste would congregate in the basement of that old building, they had infested that basement like rats. This porter was meant to be keeping them out, but he left the doors open at night so they could get in so he could sadistically toy with them. For example, he said he watched on secutity camera as one down and out took a shit in the main reception. He says the …

A friend was telling me last night that mp3's will damage your ears more than lossless formats. Anyone know anything about this? Does the claim have any validity? I did a quick google search and found this: http://www.bio.net/bionet/mm/neur-sci/2002-November/052969.html But it still sounds like bullshit.

So here is my 9,000th post in this forum. Im not really plugging this too much, its just what i would do if i found out any musician i like is releasing new music (which dont have a sub forum). And as its my 9,000 post, I can do what I like. I want to tell you about Leyland Kirby's new triple (3 double 12" 1x3 + 1x2 cd album and download). I, myself am a big big fan of james' caretaker music, very nice sounding haunting music, subtle manipulated with various reverbs and crakles and pops, anyways check it out if you havnt already. so, after hearing a caretaker track randomly come on in a play list i was listning to, I went to visit james' new label website, hi…

Can we make new skins for the forum? I'd love to give it a shot, as I think this place could be way nicer looking than it is... :D Is it possible?

World War 2 has been driven through the ground in popular media. Books, videogames, movies... there's no shortage of classic titles about World War 2. Hollywood and the videogame industry especially have raked in a goldmine from it over the last twenty years. What about World War 1? What classic titles out there take place in the midst of it? And why does it receive significantly less coverage and attention than World War 2 by magnitudes? Is it because the major figures involved (Hitler, Stalin, Churchill, FDR, Truman, Hirohito, and that fat greaseball whose name I forgot) were more interesting? Is it because World War 2 affected today's geopolitical landscap…

Viewing the contraption from afar is like viewing a hyperbolic megalopolis in 4-dimensional space. It exists as a living, breathing mechanism in its own self-regulated void. As you near it you are nudged into a stream of nanobots by long mechanized tendrils, these small particles successively eat away your skin, muscles, and bones, leaving nothing but your bare nervous system, which they then assume onto a holographic circuit board. You are rushed to a small box which covers the holographic you in a quantum slime to hold your integrity for your entrance into...the construct. A beep signifies full preparation for entrance, and then abruptly a vacuum sucks you into "it". Af…

my mum and dad used to play mac's tango in the night all the time in the car when i was younger, and i thought id delve into some nostalgia and listen to it again after finding the cd in my mums cd collection, after listning to a few songs i decided to get a few late 70's (rumors) and late 80's (tango in the night) albums. but im sure there is ALOT more to fleetwood mac then these 2 albums. but i just dont know where to start from. im just gussing the 60's mac's albums are very blues driven? and anything past the 80's is just shit? any other fleetwood mac fans here who would guide me into getting some great fleetwood mac albums?

Sorry, I'm sure there's a thread somewhere for St. Vincent - Actor, but I tried Google and WATMM search and found nothing. I even searched through like 4 old pages of 'New & Upcoming Releases' or whatever the forum is called. I wanted to say it's one of my favorite albums from the year. I watched a live performance bc my friend played bari sax w her band on Letterman, and it was awesome. Plus, she is so fucking beautiful. You know, she looks a little bit like Scarlett Johansson in the face. *actorbates furiously*
