Bersarin Quartett - Systeme (Denovali)
Scaramouche replied to dcom's topic in New & Upcoming Releases
About halfway through Systeme now. Giving me some Stars of the Lid meets Max Richter vibes in places. If the rest of the albums sound half as good as what I've heard so far, then I'll get them today. Systeme is fitting my mood perfectly. Edit: Just got Neuronen. This album does mix things up a little. Wicked.- 6 replies

Not familiar with this project. Previews were enough to make me pull the trigger.- 6 replies

Friday's show is now available to stream: https://www.nts.live/shows/actress/episodes/actress-8th-december-2023 This sounds like the set he played last Thursday. Edit: Yeah, it's an hour of the set from Studio 9294.

Studio 9294 He played for roughly 1 hour and 30 mins. There was a very intense acid inflected section around the halfway mark, didn't recognise it. (as of writing this) sounded like the section from today's NTS show circa 13:50. Not the best venue, but whatever, he was awesome. Hearing him perform live and loud really drove home the hiss and noise, it was wicked. Loveless: IMG_1026.MOV Lost: IMG_1037.MOV

I bought Alan Wake (Remastered) and Alan Wake II. Towards the end of ep 2 on the first game. So far, so okay. Gameplay is a little bit clunky and samey for my tastes. I can see myself getting bored repeating fuck all ammo, shining a torch at, and dodging, the taken dudes for another 4 episodes. Probably would prefer a Telltale games approach to mechanics. That being said, the story and setting are cool, I'm loving the overall vibe.

KMRU is supporting Alessandro Cortini next year (Barbican, 10th of Feb) reminded me I had few KMRU bits in my wish list, this being one of them. Really impressed, focused on Dissolution Grip and Stupor, two of his most recent releases so far. Just queuing up epoch and glim for tonight. Reminds me of BJ Nielsen in places, certainly wouldn't be out of place on Touch.

this sounds good, on the list. I really liked Light Pipes on Room40.

Probably the real reason Bruce chose the persona of a bat. I guess the Batmobile was a giveaway.

Nice. Think I need to get the Paperclip Minimiser and Animal Zen albums.

Another t-shirt collaboration with Brain Dead released today to coincide with the album launch: https://wearebraindead.com/products/actress-x-brain-dead-v-lxxxviii-t-shirt-black?variant=43394527297667 No hints of any music dropping with it like the last one, but maybe Unseen_Werk No 2 on the way?

Was going to post this a few weeks back, it dropped today on Kranky. Grouper does R&B vibes. I've been looking forward to this album after a mate sent me a few bits. Bones Become the Trees is a wicked track. We Are The Music Makers | Volume One by Various Single (2021) CRY EP (2020)
